Sofs Boutique Hotel

I visited this hotel whilst on a business trip for the week and have to say was really pleased with my stay here. The hotel itself is beautiful and well maintained, with a lovely courtyard area out the back to sit and relax with a book and a glass of wine. Additionally it is perfectly placed for exploring the Aarhus regions and local restaurants etc. I intend to return to Aarhus for a personal trip and will be coming back to this hotel again.

We were charmed by this small hotel. We'd rate it 5, but for two slight imperfections. One: the shower drain (room 15) was very slow; I worried about flooding the bathroom. Two: the pillows were completely inadequate, in that they were too small and too soft--but that's normal for Danish hotels. The breakfast room can get a tad crowded, but that is part of its charm, and the breakfast spread is nice. Try to book rooms that don't face the street; ours did, and at 6:10 am we were woken by trash pick-up.

Lovely little hotel in Aarhus, very convenient situated to reach all the man attractions. Rooms are very clean and bright and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is traditional continental with a wide range of bread, meat, fish and pastries. The team are very helpful and make you feel welcome. Ideal for people that like placers with character and enjoying their creature comforts.

I booked this hotel for a business trip. When I arrived at 8PM the staff informed that they had no rooms, despite the booking. They had ignored my booking due to "management changes", and could only offer me a room with shared bathroom. As the city was completely full at the time I no other option but to accept. The room I got was filthy, and without heating, and with a shared bathroom. The staff charged me full price for this. Don't go.

The hotel is in a great location, very central to shops, bars and restaurants. The staff were particularly lovely and always charming and very helpful. We had a very nice bedroom with a comfy bed, great shower. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Spotless and cozy room in a charming building. Amazing breakfast. Wonderful staff. Best location in the city. Close to everything including the light rail to the University. I’ve stayed here twice and will stay here again. When it’s warm out, the garden is wonderful

Full of atmosphere, charm and excellent service. Extremely clean and top quality in all aspects. Located in the heart of my favorite area in Aarhus, the Latin Quarter. I will definitely come back. Highly recommendable.

We had a wonderful stay at SOFS Boutique Hotel. Charming, stylish and central place with cosy and clean rooms. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly, helpful and smiling :-) We are definitely coming back!

I (and my wife) recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel during a weekend trip to Aarhus and I must say, it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming and friendly, and went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The room seemed new and was spacious, well-appointed and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was especially comfortable and provided a great night's sleep after a long day of exploring the city. The hotel's location couldn't be better - situated right in the heart of Aarhus, it's just a short walk away from many of the city's top attractions, including the ARoS Aarhus Art Museum and the Old Town. There is only 100 meters to the central pedestrian street of the city and the area is stuffed with great restaurants and nice little niché shops. For instance the bakery in the street nearby (La Cabra) has the best croissants I've ever tasted. Nearby is a quality liqour store where the down-to-earth bartenders are really nice and knows a lot about the products and the history behind. The only negative thing is that the street of the hotel is quite busy, so watch out when you exit the hotel. It's important to note that we couldn't hear the traffic from our rooms. On in all we were quite satisfied and we wouldn't hesitate returning if we ever need to stay in center of Aarhus again.
