We had a larger room, it was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The website seemed so welcoming when we booked our room, but that is where the welcome sign was taken down. We received an email with a contactless check in (key in a 4-digit code in the side door and a different code in our room), We were also informed that the wonderful, organic breakfast promised on the web site was a brown bag breakfast due to covid. (Really? you haven't figured that out?) On arrival there was a sign to take our shoes off. (When was the last time you walked around a hotel without shoes), and when we got to our room, there was a sign hanging on the door with rules about shoes, food in the room, and unapproved chemical products...right down to stating if they found products they deemed toxic they reserved the right to take it from you (um, that's stealing), and if the "organic sheets were damaged by said chemicals, they are charging you. I thought Inns were part of the hospitality business, no? Well, we didn't see an innkeeper or staff member during our 3 night stay. No one welcomed us, and the electronic and printed communications were anything but welcoming. We won't be going back.
