Orion Naxos Hotel

Our second stay at the beautiful Orion on Naxos. The rooms are spotless and the beds are very comfortable. We had the Junior Suite. It was upstairs with a view of the sea from our balcony. It had a kitchenette which we mostly used for coffee and to keep our bottle water cold. They do have pans, pots, dishes, cups, glasses and utensils. The morning breakfast was delicious. Filled with homemade sweets, eggs, bread, jams, ect. Alex was our go to guy. He was beyond helpful and knowledgeable. He was always willing to help. He even drove my brother around on his motorcycle until he could find his very hard to find Airbnb. He got us rental cars, reservations for Covid tests, recommended restaurants, villages with maps to visit. Always willing to chat. Nicest person ever!! The hotel is the perfect location between a 5-8 minute walk to the beach, restaurants, and to a market. We didn’t use a car, but when we did, we would rent one for the day. Very good location. Very quiet and peaceful. They had an outdoor shower to rinse off before going up to our room. The sink is large enough to wash a little clothes, and they have laundry line out on the balcony. Everyone you see there is very friendly and always a smile. We will definitely go back to the Orion when we are ever back in Naxos!! 5 star all the way!!

My partner and I stayed at Orion Hotel in mid-September. This is our second visit to this small, family run hotel and could not have been more pleased. The hotel only has about 15 rooms, we had a superior suite as we stayed for 10 days and enjoyed the sitting/living room along with a separate bedroom. The rooms have a minimalist feel, very well equipped, small kitchen, a terrace with furniture on one end and a balacony with comfy deck chairs on the opposite. The hotel is just s short walk from a village with good dining/drinks and small supermarkets. It is also just across the road from a wonderful sand beach with clear water. I contacted the hotel directly when booking and Alex was very responsive confirming our booking, took a deposit and we paid the balance upon arrival. Also he arranged transport from the Port, although the public bus is pretty convenient. Finally the breakfast is plentiful, lots of homemade cakes and pastries but also eggs, cheese and some sliced/cured meats. We had such a relaxing time in this oasis of peace, quiet at night and a very restful stay. I'd highly recommend staying at Orion, we'll be back
