Sunpark Garden Hotel

I am writing this review whilst at the hotel. I visited here with friends last year and this year came back with my family. So I will let you read into that what you will. We had breakfast only so can’t comment on the dinner & evening meal. But breakfast is more than adequate. Dining is outside under a canopy for shade if you don’t mind that. This is a very family orientated hotel. Almost entirely families and a few couples. Very low key, no loud music or animation although they do have some fun stuff for the kids like a pool inflatable and water aerobics and water polo. Never heard any of the other guests complain which you often get at hotels. I‘ve reviewed the hotel before last year so not going into it too much please read that if you wish. Good. 1. location - 10 mins walk from centre and 15 from beach 2. Clean. 3. Daily housekeeping inc making bed and changing towels if required. 4. Rooms have a living room and separate bedroom and a little kitchenette with sink and fridge. 5. Individual room AC. 6. Gym is ok for a week. 7. Plenty of sunbeds at all times. Nobody really throws towels over them. Bad. 1. This is from my family - the water chemicals are a bit strong. And has bleached their costumes 2. Breakfast is the same every day and there are not that many options. Again from my family - but I disagree. 3. Pool closes at 6pm and everybody asked to leave the pool and sunbeds whilst people are still enjoying themselves. This seems unfair - people paid a lot of money to come and why shouldn’t they enjoy the facilities longer.

Perfect Holliday , great food , nice and clean here . Also the staff is very nice ( Abdullah ) , much shopping possibilities and alot of stuff to do. A visit to the castle ,is very nice by evening not even that busy. Next year maybe again Turkey.

Sunpark Garden hotel is a lovely hotel. Nice rooms, food and the people who work there are very nice. You can do a lot of activities like yoga, darts, aqua aerobics, waterpolo and more. The Turkisch Night was very beautiful. We enjoyed the music and all the people at the hotel. The transfer to the beach is very relaxed. They bring you to the beach and pick you up at the beach at different times. I hope next year to see the whole crew back. We miss you already!!!

Reply to hotel. I'm the customer! The food was ok for me because I'm vegetarian and there were lots of salads. The other 3 people with me struggled! There weren't many plain meat choices. There were some meat dishes mixed with veg that visitors who don't like veg won't eat. My daughter basically ate chips or wedges when served. Pizza, if served normally had veg or other green stuff on it. I asked for an omelette (as they made them fresh) that didn't have meat in it for breakfast and they couldn't understand English. I didn't get one. There was always something missing at meals. Normally cutlery but a lot of the time the food containers were empty, no matter what you say! I witnessed this myself every day! The area could do with a fly zapper. Y daughter saved one from the honey as it was swimming. Again, I found maggots in more than one fruit! The stairs weren't cleaned the whole week we were there. The same dirt and dead bugs were there when we left. No bathroom door. Just a door on toilet which stank of raw sewage most of the time. The room began to get really nosey at night due to new guests. Could hear banging and them using toilet. Ours even smelt when theirs flushed. Screeching noises from furniture being moved around their floors. It was even nosey in the main bedroom when someone in our apartment used the toilet. Pipes banged. Reception staff were asked how to get to the town centre. English was not good enough to explain or understand. I asked how much a taxi would cost. They didn't know or understand. I also asked what there was to do around the place. Same answer. No Information at all! The rooms were ok. Just not very clean. Bathroom was cleaned once and not very well. Multiple towels had stains. Took to reception and they were rude but replaced them. I did like the pool with the slides although glasses and bottles are allowed by the pool and multiple people cut feet and I personally witnessed people knocking and breaking glass. Id say if you go to this hotel do not go all inclusive. It's the worst I've ever been to for food. You allegedly feed the many stray cats, but some are injured and a tiny kitten is blind in one eye. And they're so hungry they're coming to guests for food. I feel you should be neutering and looking after them. It doesn't cost much. I've actually contacted 2 animal rescues in the area regarding them. Sunbeds were a positive. They weren't hard to get. Repetitive entertainment at night. Great friendly team but not to the standard of entertainment I normally get on holiday. And the kids entertainment started at dinner time and beside the restaurant. Not idea when you want peace and quiet to eat. Would be an idea to start it later. At the end of the holiday we were told by another guest that there was a snack menu which was free to all inclusive guests. We were NOT informed of it. We didn't get the hotel we expected due to company going bust and were offered this as an alternative. Unfortunately I'm at the hotel now and it's not the quality we'd expect from a 4 star hotel. There are many problems! This is NOT a 4 star hotel! We've paid for 4 star. The food is appalling! The choice is terrible for those who eat meat. I'm completely open to foreign cuisine, but it doesn't suit the rest of my party. The food isn't refilled as much as it should be and it's not kept at the correct temperature and I'd be concerned about people getting food poisoning. We're always having to ask for cutlery or waiting for them to refill the food containers that are empty. The plates are always wet. The coffee from the coffee machine is terrible and as an all inclusive guest, you're not allowed the coffee from the bar! I've uploaded a photo of the machines supposed cappuccino! I found maggots in the fruit. 3 fruits! The staff are hit and miss. Some are pleasant and some are rude! The place is the dirtiest hotel I've ever been in. The smell from the toilets can be very unpleasant. Stinking smell at times. The towels we were given were filthy. The room doesn't look like it's been mopped in quite some time. The toilet, shower and sink could do with some bleach. We weren't given a like for like swap. The stray cats that live at the hotel I find upsetting as I'm an animal lover. They're skinny and 2 are injured. One is a tiny kitten having to fend for itself and I think one is pregnant.. I feel the hotel should have a responsibility to care for them properly including vet bills if that's their home. The staff don't speak very good English at all! It's hard to communicate! Staff don't clear the tables as much as they should around the pool. I do like the water slides at the hotel though and the rooms are nicely proportioned, although there's no bathroom door so even though the shower door is obscured it's not ideal when you've kids. The toilet is separate and does have a door. The hotel is reasonably quiet which I find is a plus! There is a transfer to the beach which is free, but needs to be booked the day before. Unfortunately the driver forgot to pick us up again and we had to call the hotel who sent a 6 seater for 8 people so we'd to wait even longer. Reps pester holiday makers beside the pool for tattoos and piercings. I'm really disappointed. It's not of a compatible standard of a 4 star which it's advertised as. I'm actually here now and really disappointed!

Sunpark Garden is great family hotel near everything. Nice, green oasis in the middle of the town. Good food, nice staff, clean ja spacious rooms, comfy beds. We come here year after year, I can recommend to everyone! Also for couples and friends, but maybe not to party people due to families.
