If you have ever dreamed of experiencing section 8 housing while on vacation, this is the place for you. Upon arriving, you’ll be treated to the sweet aroma of skunk **** right at the front entrance along with 15-20 not so welcoming individuals indulging in the sweet leaf. If you make it through the plume of smoke without passing out, you will enter the hotel and then go through another door to a small room to the right where a front desk clerk sits behind, I’m assuming, bullet proof glass. No door man or bell hop here! You is in the hood! You will be buzzed into your main living quarters for your own safety. Like to party with strangers! They got that too. When you get up to your room floor, you will be greeted by open doors, loud music and partying. Upon entering your room Nothing says welcome like the sounds of dancing on your ceiling, not the Lionel Richie kind, from the residents above. No sleep tonight! That’s for sure! Like to live in filth! We’ve got good news for you. There are countless stains in the bathtub, sinks, floors, and cabinets. You will be delighted I hope you like eating with your hands. Even though this is advertised as an extended stay there are no plates, cups, utensils or cookware. Probably because they’ve all been stolen!!! It’s cave man style all the way. No need to worry about slipping on these rooms floors. You’re feet will be secured to the ground in at least a years worth of sticky filth. Want to bring a gift home to your furry friends! How about fleas?!?! They’ve got them too- jumping all over the bathtub. Your furry friends will be so appreciative of your gift as they scratch themselves silly when you return home. The $20 extra a night you would’ve paid to stay in a satisfactory hotel can now go to medicated shampoo for your fur babies. Are you a fan of America’s most wanted and ever dreamed about turning in a fugitive? Stay here and you just might knock this off your bucket list. In 2019, Greg Alyn Carlson who is on the FBI’s Most Wanted list was shot and killed at this gem of a hotel where he was staying. And last but not least. If you need one more visual to illustrate how screwed you are- there is a literal screw sitting in the middle of the bathroom floor! 🤩🤩🤩🤩 Then when you leave 10 minutes after checking in I hope you enjoy the energy it takes to try and get your money refunded. 2 failed attempts at the main property, credit card disputes and a corporate dispute. Plus, another hotel bill because there was no way in hell you were staying here. Shame on choice hotels. Worst experience I’ve ever had anywhere. You’ll be making a very "BAD choice" if you stay here. The only thing sweet about Woodspring suites is that you make it out of there unscathed.

the hotel is nice and clean . great customer service , the managers were very nice . the beds were comfortable with nice pillows but overall it was a great experience and I would love to visit again.

The staff was amazing, rates was good and manager Quinn was very helpful and made sure had extra towels. Room was very clean and smoke free. I would definitely recommend hotel to family and friends. JP

We were in town for training and this is the hotel recommended. Make sure you read there reviews before booking. No internet. We even considered sleeping in the car but figured it was only one night, we could do it, but never again!

This hotel is nothing short of disgusting! From the rudeness of the staff to the condition of the room, it's a nightmare! Don't let them fool you by saying it's a no smoking hotel. From the moment I walked into the front door, it reeked of cigarettes. You have to call for a front desk person at night, which I did. A guy came out, very unkempt, and worked his way around figuring out my reservation. He was sloppy in manner, but actually polite (except for getting a full butt view when he bent over.) When I went up to my room, I felt like I was walking through a prison hallway. Between the smoke and stale smells, I was already turned off. When I opened the door to the room, it got worse. There was garbage in the trash can, the cigarette smell was strong, the sheets were stained, there was carpet on the floor of a pet friendly hotel (the two don't mix) and overall it was not a place I'd ever stay if I saw it ahead of time. I've stayed in nicer Motel 6's! I was leery about being there but when the lock didn't work and the stained sheets presented themselves, I was done! I made the reservations ahead of time and it was non-refundable. I fought the guy at the front desk after finding him outside smoking, barefooted. Real classy. He told me it was non-refundable, to which I countered I reserved a non-smoking room which is something they couldn't provide. His response was they couldn't control what people did in the room What? If that's the case don't sell it as a no-smoking room! He finally called his manager and got approval for the cancellation but it couldn't be processed until the next day. I called the hotel that Saturday, and spoke to Anastasia. This is one person who should not be placed in the position of customer service. Rude to the max! She told me she didn't know what I was talking about and didn't really believe a word I said. She finally called the manager (not sure where this elusive manager is) and got the story. I was refunded 2 of the 3 nights which angered me. They couldn't deliver what was promised and charged me for it anyway. I ended up fighting with Choice Hotels to get the rest of the money back, but who needs this? From now on it's going to be reputable hotels only. There's enough aggravation in everyday life. Nobody needs a crap hotel like this to add to it.

This hotel is not for the faint of heart, or anyone with a sense of smell or cleanliness. The stench in the room was unbearable. It smelled like something had died in there and remained for a long while. The entry and hallways were filled with smoke and a group of smokers greeted me at the front entrance. The stained bedspreads were quite unwelcoming and certainly had not been given any attention in a while. There was a stain on the carpet that had the appearance of blood. The final straw that ensured my departure was the dead carcass of a roach lying on the dusty stove hood in the kitchen area. The desk clerk was MIA for approximately 20 minutes as I waited to speak with him about how dissatisfied I was. When he did appear, he spat out his tobacco juice in front of me and cursed at me, as well. He also told me there were no other available rooms, at which point I informed him that I wouldn’t stay in any room in the facility even if there was availability. Later I learned there was availability, but that I had been lied to. He also would not provide me any information on how I could get a refund or anyone I could speak with about the matter. I immediately escaped to the safety of my car and contacted Choice Hotels and filed a formal complaint. They were cooperative, but could not do much to help, as this place is independently owned and operated. I suggested they disassociate their company with this property. I tried to contact the hotel several times. Each time I would be disconnected. I tried calling from a friend’s phone and actually reached a human, but when I identified myself, I was placed on hold and then disconnected. Finally, four days into the horrible experience, I somehow reached a manager who spoke with me. She was kind and listened to the details of my ordeal and promptly offered a full refund, but not based on my dissatisfaction of the filthiness, but because the desk clerk had lied to me when he informed me there were no more available rooms. I would recommend this hotel as a place to be avoided. It is in at the end of a remote lane, and not even visible until you travel past industrial buildings and turn into a hidden cul-de-sac. It may be a location one may want to stay if desiring a remote place to practice some CSI skills. Just bring a bio-suit and do not plan to sleep during your stay. Good luck if you ever have to endure any time at this location!
