Great place very confortable kind and helpful people. The dinner was delicious and the breakfast incredible. The spa ins great and empty at that time of the year. We recommend for a night or two in the mountain. Accessible by train and the trip is nice in the nature

It’s such an amazing hotel with excellent service. The reception staff gave us a lot of useful information and we had great time there. The panoramic view from their restaurant is stunning, however the food could be better. I hope they have a mini fridge tho, but in the end it’s fine for us.

We loved to stay in the altein. Everything to the last point was perfect. The pinball machines in the game room where just the cherry on the top. We are definitely coming back to the altein and will recommend it for ou friends and family members.

We were very satisfied. Friendly and helpful staff, we felt at home instantly. Great location in Arosa, close to everything . Nice and comfortable rooms, great SPA and a restaurant with a beautiful view. We especially would like to mention Maja in the ZUS Restaurant. Always good humour, spontaneous, helpful and looking for the best for her guest. The only point we think the hotel can improve, is the menu of the half pension. It contained mostly 2 times salad: once as an entree and once in the free second service from the buffet. I wished the cook had a little more fantasy.

I stayed at the hotel as single person on a group walking holiday with Ramblers World Wide Holidays for a week. There were seven in the group & our walks leader made eight. I was allocated a double room with a balcony that had some great views of typical Alpine scenery. The room was clean & comfortable. There were no wardrobes, cupboards or drawers in my room, just shelves & an open hanging space. This suited me as I use packing cubes & I just transferred them on to the shelves & hung the rest up. It may not suit everybody though. We were on a half board basis. The breakfast buffet was excellent & varied. The staff do try to keep it replenished but if it is really busy you may have to wait sometimes. The dining rooms are very impressive with great views out of the large windows. You had to write your main course choice for dinner on a board outside the dining room at breakfast. If this means less waste than I was happy to do so. The dinner menu has three choices of mains. Meat, Fish & vegetarian & a single starter & a sweet course all served to your table. You also have a choice of soup & salad from a self service buffet so there is plenty to eat. I would have liked to have seen some butter for the bread at the buffet personally. You can also order drinks from the bar at the table. All eight of us got our food served simultaneously which was nice. I thoroughly enjoyed everything I ate during my stay. At the back of the hotel there are tennis courts, sunbeds & other amenities but I did not have the time or energy to use them. There is an excellent Wellness Centre/Spa on the lower floor of the hotel. Inside there is a swimming pool with water jets, jacuzzi platform & a pumped water channel that you can swim with or against. Sauna, steam room & plunge pool. One side for clothed & one for un clothed. You can also book treatments & massages. A very nice facility. Last but not least are the staff. I was impressed with their English language skills & their cheery helpful demeanour. Nothing was too much trouble. I drink decaffeinated coffee & when the machine ran out of pods one morning Lens the restaurant manager went in to Arosa in his own time to get some for the next morning. Also a mention to Maya on the serving team who looked after us too. A little ray of sunshine from Croatia.

Not to recommend. Modern infrastructure, but client attention and service is way below standard. 1. We spent 2 nights in a room on the ground floor with view on parking and road construction site, despite the fact that the hotel was not fully occupied and plenty of other rooms available. 2. Menu choice was limited to 2 options, of which one was even put back onto the menu the second night. Very basic food. 3. Hotel crew is insufficiently trained for the roles they are being given 4. On feedback provided, we only received an impersonal "thank you" note, which did not at all address our observable and detailed points.
