Athens Flair

Book 4 nights and honestly did not want to leave and go back home. flair hotel feels like a royalty castle by all means. the rooms at reception level (number 1/2) are really one of a kind and the royal feeling is every where. The breakfast is totally insane (on the good side) and it is the highest standard ever. Hotel crew is super helpful and deserve the excellency reword. Roof top bar is quite and Panos the bar man is Professor !! Because it is old building there is no lift (and Many stirs instead) and that can be problem to handicaps people ! In all we score this hotel 10 out of 10 !!

I randomly booked this hotel, and it was a delightful surprise. It’s close to everything but tucked back in an alleyway. We had a beautiful balcony with a view of Lycabettus and a private hot tub. The bed and shower were great. Most amazingly, they delivered a personally selected breakfast to your room every day including coffee, fresh squeezed juices, yogurts, pastries, eggs etc.

We've stayed here for 6 nights and really we would stay for much longer if we could. The staff is very friendly yet discrete: they're there to help you in any way you need but they're not intrusive, as it happens in some hotels. The building is a hidden pearl, allowing you to experience living in an historical building (of one great architect) and still have all comfort, in the middle of this big city, far from the crowds but at walking distance of all the major attractions (e.g., the Acropolis is at 25 min walking distance) and lively neighbourhoods. The beds are big and very comfortable and the breakfast is wonderful. We will definetly stay there again.

Wonderful boutique hotel, beautiful building, staff are amazingly helpful. Comfy beds in chic rooms. Breakfast on the terrace was one of the highlights of our trip. We were fortunate to be upgraded and loved our jacuzzi/hot tub on the balcony of our room.

We initially stayed 1 night at the Athens Flair before returning after an island visit, for a 6 night stay. For the 1st night we booked the Superior suite and were allocated room 1. A large room with separate sitting/ dressing /minibar area but no formal bathroom. Instead a sink and a huge walk in shower- within the room and a separate toilet, which was little more than a cupboard. The bed was comfy, however, we also experienced some noise from the bars below on a Friday night. For our 2nd stay we were lucky enough to be in the Signature Suite, room 6, another floor up and at the quieter back of the hotel. This room was a large all-in-one area and more importantly, a large separate bathroom. This room also benefitted from a huge outside secluded terrace with hottub. The staff, Irene, Antonis and Manager Lia could not do enough for us and were so friendly. A lovely breakfast with fresh OJ was served either in the room or on the rooftop terrace adjacent to our room. You need to order the night before and there was a good choice. The historic building has been beautifully refurbished but be aware that there are stairs, 32 to reception and the same again if you are on the next level, but help with bags is available. The area itself is relatively quiet and a 12 minute brisk walk gets you to Syntagma Square, the shops and the start of the historic area. You will, however, find restaurants, coffee shops, and ice cream within a few minutes' walk. We were made to feel very welcome and really enjoyed our time there. We made a couple of suggestions for the room, such as additional lighting, a mirror, and a requirement for some drawer space, and the staff were keen to address this with the owners. We would definitely recommend the Athens Flair for a calm stay, away from the bustle of the main city and with a personal touch that we appreciated.

We stayed at Athens Flair for 2 nights and we had an amazing experience. These are just a few things that we loved in the hotel: * Our room was very spacious, comfortable, and clean. We really felt the luxury of the hotel, and also, the views were breathtaking. It was amazing to have a big balcony with a private jacuzzi. Nespresso machine at the room is a very nice touch. * All the staff was very professional, nice and kind. They really know how to take care of their guests. We felt really special the way that everyone treated you. * Perfect location with main attractions on walking distance and with plenty of restaurants, cafés and supermarkets close by. * The breakfast was delicious with much variety with fresh and traditional ingredients. * The rooftop is also a plus because you don't need to leave the hotel to have great views. We had, without a doubt, an amazing hotel experience. We can't recommend enough staying at this hotel.
