Holiday Inn Express & Suites Auburn Downtown

Great lobby, good breakfast, clean rooms, and perfect location

We stayed here one night after our late flight to Seattle to visit Mt Rainier NP. It is a typical Holiday Inn Express that I often stay and trust. Clean, modern and had a good breakfast with hot items( pancakes, sausages, bacons, etc). It is 25 minutes ride from SeaTac airport and will put you on the way to Mount Rainier NP. Happy to stay here again if visiting the park.

This is the second visit we stayed at this hotel within the year. We usually stay 8-10 days each time. Throughout our stay the management makes us feel welcome and at home. The rooms are kept immaculate by the amazing housekeeping staff. The groundskeepers are constantly grooming the property. The front desk staff, Flo, Anna, leslie and several others, are absolutely outstanding in welcoming guests to this establishment. We enjoy the complimentary breakfast each morning consisting of a wide variety of fresh food choices and well addressed by the staff member that handles each days menu. She is a charm! A couple of evenings a week they offer a free cocktail hour of beer and wine along with a few food items. It certainly is a nice gesture to get the guests together for an hour or so. Parking is free and plentiful. We have never had an issue navigating the road to enter, so not sure why some people have deemed it difficult. The hotel is one of our favorites and we hope to return soon for another pleasant stay to make more memories. Thank you to the staff for making Holiday Inn, Auburn, WA our home away from home!

This hotel has got be top 2 that I have been to. Isela DeHaro and her team are superb. The hotel is always clean, the rooms are maintained, and the staff are incredibly pleasant. They greet each guest happily and are just a joy. Bfast is always fresh and clean. 5stars!!

The staff was friendly. The room was clean. Unfortunately my request for late check out was “lost”. We had housekeeping enter our room, then we received a call from the front desk. Because I frequently use IHG properties regularly I was both surprised and disappointed. Hopefully this is a 1 time occurrence.

My husband and I stayed here while we were in town for our son's 7on7 football tournament. We were warmly welcomed, given complimentary bottles of water and quickly provided with our room keys. When we got to our room on the 5th floor, our cards weren't working so my husband went back down to the lobby. Turned out she wrote the wrong room number down. A little inconvenience, but it was a small mistake that she quickly rectified. Our room and bathroom were clean and spacious. We had everything we needed except an in room safe. Considering we were travelling with passports and cash, this would have come in handy. There was a rather obvious stain on the floor beside the bed that was a little unseemly but the beds and pillows were some of the most comfortable that I've ever experienced in a hotel. We both slept great the two nights we stayed. The breakfast was okay. The first morning, we went down a bit later and it seemed like they were hesitant to make more food so they didn't have to throw anything away. It wasn't fresh and we had to scrape the dishes clean. It wasn't busy. The second morning, we went down earlier and things seemed fresher and more full. Overall, friendly service, super comfortable beds and a great location. Would stay again!

This hotel is not as advertised. I booked a 1 bedroom suite. Upon arrival, there was no bedroom. It was a regular hotel room with a pony wall between the couch and the bed. The room smelled like those cars trying to get rid of odor. Carpets are dingy/dirty. You will get up at 6ish as the train roars through blowing its horn. You may have to use your plumbing skills to get the toilet to work. It was a very expensive place to stay for subpar rooms and breakfast.
