Hotel is tucked away off the main road. We stayed two nights for a wedding nearby. Room was nice and clean. Hotel wasn't terribly busy and so it was quiet. I forgot my toiletry bag after we checked out, they were nice enough to mail it back to me. Thank you!

Very clean, updated, new rooms. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was great. Bed was comfortable. We stayed for a quick over night for a cheer competition at the DC Center. The only complaint was the overbearing smell of fabuloso in the lobby and the rooms. The pool was also out of service but we didn't have time for that so it wasn't a bother.

Very disappointed in my recent stay. Usually, I am a big fan of Hampton Inn hotels, but this was far below what I've experienced before. Our room had a disgusting, musty, wet dog smell. Had a headache the minute I walked into the room. Pool was closed, breakfast was just ok. Front desk staff very rigid and unaccommodating. Asked for late checkout (normal checkout at 11 am) and allowed nothing later then noon even though we are a diamond member. Arrived back to pack our things at 11:15 am only to find our key access removed. Locked out!!! Had to call manager to be let back into room and remind them we have noon checkout.

This hotel has gone downhill. Some of the white bedding is stained. The bed skirt looks dirty. There were a few black specs on the sheets and something else to dust off, may not have been the cleanest. The pillows and bedding looks & feels worn out. We requested towels in the morning to shower and over an hour later they still hadn’t arrived. We finally had to get them ourselves. There wasn’t any oatmeal an hour before breakfast was over a couple of mornings. The hot water container had cold water in it for the 24 hour coffee-tea-hot cocoa area. One morning the water was cold so must have been left overnight. The waffle maker broke and there wasn’t a back up plan or machine. The potatoes were cold. The indoor pool area was closed. Dogs were barking and you could smell the dogs.

The awful room smell!! Even in the sheets. It is really too bad because the front desk people are nice, the breakfast is not bad, and the property is way off the busy main road..Even so, we would never return because of the terrible room smell! Many other reviews had the same comment.

The smell alone makes it hard to stay here.. I should have read reviews before booking this place.. it’s musty & strong. The man at the front desk was very friendly it’s just too bad the rooms smell so bad otherwise it wouldn’t be that bad:………….
