Atlantica SunGarden Beach

Before I start, I just want to touch upon some of the awful reviews some have given this hotel, if you are giving any less than 4 star then I truly believe you have been extremely unlucky or are being so harsh and picky because I can honestly say they are nothing close to the amazing experience and week we have had here. 1. Everybody knows all inclusive food isn’t going to be 5 start restaurant quality we all know what we are signing up for , but honestly it is some of the best all inclusive food I have had, yes some bits may be repetitive but there’s only so much you can change over the space of a week, it is also advertised what type of night theme each day has for dinner so if you don’t fancy it then you know in advance which was perfect for us! 2. People saying the rooms are small … again what exactly do you want , if you want a bigger room pay the price, my partner and I had a twin/double room with sea view, this had an abundance of space and drawers, plenty of space to move, nice sized bathroom, nice sized mini fridge, safe in room, good hair dryer in room (not one of those attached to the wall ones) huge shower , lovely balcony, yes the space between the bed and front table is a little small but plenty of space to move past unless you are trying to move a family of 4 through the space at the one time, again no issues here unless you are being picky. Only thing that would be really good to have is an iron in the rooms! 3. People moaning about towels and cleanliness, throughout the whole week here we have saw nothing but staff constantly cleaning to an amazing standard, rooms cleaned daily, pools cleaned every day, surrounding grounds/ floors/ glass panels cleaned constantly, people moaning about food being cleaned off tables onto the floor .. yes and this was sweeped up within seconds what else do you want them to do with it when they are running about cleaning after hundreds of people at meal times. I recall only having 1 day that we were not giving fresh pool towels but we already had 4 in the room which we dried, I really don’t understand the issue of using a towel again it’s your own towel give it a dry and get over yourself , or bring your own towel for continence. 4. All staff members were top notch, especially the woman with curly dark hair and glasses (we forgot to get her name but she was fabulous - as was everyone). 5. If you have the chance to pick a sea view room, do it as it is honestly without a doubt the best view I have ever had on holiday. 6. Pools are fabulous the front pools are much more chilled and relaxed with the infinity pool adult only with 10/10 views with the back pool more lively with music - didn’t have an issue with either and always managed to get loungers , plenty left by even 9:30am but this could be as it is not the height of summer, pools also clean , nothing like a previous review who said it was grubby and dirty , I can assure you I would not be swimming in something grubby , it was gleaming clean. 7. 10/10. Where to start…. Staff - all polite and helpful. Waiters, bar staff, cleaners and reception all brilliant. Rooms - we stayed in a sea view double room in the main hotel (204). Great size and views were amazing out to sea. Rooms was clean on arrival and cleaned each day we were there (7 days) Hotel - not too busy despite appearing to be full. There is plenty of room by the bar area and in the dinner hall and never feel to crammed In. The hotel was always clean everywhere you went. Pools - we stayed by the main pool and adult pool throughout our stay. The infinity pool has an amazing view across the coast. The pool Areas were always clean and tidy and there was never an issue getting a lounger. Bars - drinks menu is the same throughout the hotel. We mainly got ours from main bar and pool bar. Good quality cocktails with a range to suit all. Also water machines all around to help keep you hydrated in the heat. Food - we didn’t do the Al a Carte part but only because we enjoyed the main restaurant so much. Varied food each day and a different theme night each night. The live cooking area was always providing great theme night food and there was an area for kids food also. One of the best all inclusive foods we have experienced. Many options and always great quality and taste. Location - the hotel is only a 20min walk into Ayia Napa centre and the Ayia Napa harbour. They are both worth a visit but even more so in the evening when it’s a little cooler to walk. Lots of bars and restaurants to choose from also but I recommend ‘The Square open air bar’. Live music and sport in a great location. Just up the road from the hotel is the Ayia Napa sculpture walk. Recommend taking a short wonder round this also. Great views all round. The beach is a 5min walk down to the right of the hotel and the sea is warm and with fish to see nearer the rocks so take your goggles. There are also jet skis, pedalos and other water sports available. I think that pretty much covers everything. Would 100% recommend to couples and families. The hotel and area offer something for everyone.

We had a great holiday at this lovely hotel . Well located in Ayia Napa with harbour and bars/shops a short walk away. Several local shops stocked gf foods and snacks . Fab pools and facilities. Food was amazing with so much variety. As a coeliac eating gluten free I was so well looked after . Hercules the chef looked after me from day 1 and always advised what was safe or would cook something for me at any mealtime . Lots of staff were aware and always helped including regarding drinks and snacks . So important to make my holiday symptom free . The a la carte meal was also great with adaptations made for gf . We will return and thank you to all the staff .

We booked this hotel for the views, the pools, and the swim up bar. The Bad. There is no such thing as a swim up bar! You are not allowed to use it that way. The photos are misleading, as are the travel agents' descriptions. Other than the Pina Colada, the all-inclusive cocktails were poor. The Good. A 5 star view from the balcony overlooking the infinity pool. Truly wow. This alone would bring me back. Our request for a quiet room was fulfilled. A great selection of food at every meal and always warm. The restaurant was run very efficiently. The taller, older gentleman in there (manager?) with the megawatt smile had great customer service skills. Once the balcony doors were shut, we never heard the thumping music from the square in Ayia Napa. We never struggled for a sunbed. The quiet pool was a blessing. Really relaxing. Beautiful beach 2 minutes away, sculpture park was a real highlight for me. Love Bridge 3 minutes walk. Ayia Napa took 15 minutes stunning walk along the shore. Crystal clear, warm sea. All in all a great holiday in a great hotel. Well done to all of the team.

The people are friendly from reception,housekeeping to restaurant and bar staff. Especially Anna,who works everywhere.The Hotel is spotless,and a big plus is,free wi fi,free safe and free air con.The food is really good always something to please you.The al a cart restaurant is well worth a visit,you can go 1 time during your holiday,the sea view rooms are well worth the extra, amazing views out to sea,the hotel is perched on a small costal path.wont disapoint.

A Decent Stay with Some Ups and Downs • Friendly Staff & Great Views The hotel offers a welcoming atmosphere, largely thanks to its friendly and attentive staff. The upstairs bar and balcony also provide a lovely view, which is one of the highlights. • Comfortable Rooms & Daily Service The rooms are decent—clean and comfortable. Housekeeping comes in daily to tidy up, make the beds, and provide fresh towels, which was appreciated. • Acceptable Dining Options The food was acceptable, nothing too special, but it gets the job done. There’s a reasonable variety, though nothing particularly memorable. • Basic Pool Area The pools are just okay—functional, but don’t expect anything special. They are rather basic and nothing to rave about. • Limited Entertainment If you’re looking for entertainment, this might not be the place for you. The shows are mediocre at best; I’ve seen much better in smaller social clubs. • Unreliable Wi-Fi One of the major downsides was the Wi-Fi. It was weak and unreliable, which can be frustrating if you need to stay connected.
