I have been a huge fan of Secana since my first visit a year ago. I’ve been back several times since and it’s always been consistently a great experience so I wasn’t expecting any improvements. So I was quite caught off guard, in the most pleasant of ways, on this last visit. Their new manager Sylvain Croise skillfully took something already great and turned it into something unbelievably better! Luxury Lifestyle Awards recently conducted a detailed interview with Sylvain regarding his leadership and innovative ideas with Secana, Bali’s newest luxury resort. I got a delicious taste of the personalized experience that Sylvain talks about in the interview. With the help of their chef extraordinaire, Antox, who is an expert chef by trade, but an artist at heart, because his dishes doesn’t just pleases the tastebuds but the eyes as well. Chef Antox made me a gorgeous charcuterie board, almost too beautiful to eat, and during our conversation he picked up on what foods I’ve been missing and created a perfect multiple course lunch for me the next day served upstairs in their restaurant that overlooks the ocean. The setting was so elegant, it is also the perfect spot for sunset drinks. The dynamic duo of Sylvain and Chef Antox has given me an unforgettable experience for my visit. My deepest gratitude to you both and the amazing staff there as well. Secana has definitely upgraded with these two!
