Booked Treehouse B for 5 nights but switched to Treehouse A mid-way so will review both. All pics are of treehouse A. TREEHOUSE B (COCOS NUCIFERA) Semi-outdoor concept which is not accurately represented in the photos. In essence, everything but the bedroom is outdoors. Which also means that you are exposed to all possible bugs whenever you aren’t in the bedroom. 🫨 There are three levels; the floor with the main entrance is also where the bathroom is, further up is the kitchen/dining + wardrobe area and further up is a sofa + the bedroom. Note that the stairs are open so there is a possibility of dropping things or people peeping through the gaps. 👀 They really tried to make it like a treehouse by using wooden slats for everything but unfortunately did not sufficiently waterproof the wooden slats enough so there was water damage and rot already present despite this only opening this year. We saw this in both treehouses A and B. Ended moving to treehouse A when we woke to loud construction on our second morning there. TREEHOUSE A (PLUMERIA) This one is enclosed so there is at least some respite from bugs but somehow there were always at least two mosquitoes at any given time which we were either battling or getting bitten by. The lizards also found their way into this one and left their giant turds around. Some places where we found said giant turds: next to my pillow and on the tissue box that we put on the table. 🤢 The bed is also set above ground and only accessible by ladder (!!!) which I understand it supposed to evoke treehouse vibes but is SO dangerous even for adults, especially when you need to climb down half-asleep to go to the toilet. Water damage/wood rot was also visible in the bathroom area for this one but at least the hot water was more consistent than treehouse B, which seemed to run out in less than a minute. Only upside is that staff is quite responsive and flexible in allowing us to change treehouses. — Overall, Grün is good for a one to two night stay if you’re seeking a more novel outdoor accommodation experience, but I cannot recommend this for longer stays, nor families with young children or the elderly. And would I return? Likely not.

Hotel was amaziing! Do not hesitate to stay here. Firstly location good and there many cafe at the hotel road. Ms. Yuli and others were so kind. Ms. Yuli helped our every what we needed. There is harman kardon speaker, 2 air conditioner in the room. Hotel view, room, cleaning was super. We are very appreciate to Grün Canggu Hotel.

整體環境很好，但整個晚上到早上，外面常有車經過的噪音，整晚都有狗叫聲，睡不好。

Had an unforgettable stay at the villa with a private pool in Grün Canggu Treehouse Boutique. The bedroom was large, tastefully designed, and had one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in, with high-quality linens that made for a restful night. The rain shower and spacious bathroom added a touch of luxury. The highlight was the private pool right outside the bedroom, offering stunning views of the rice fields, perfect for a morning swim or sunset relaxation. The villa felt secluded yet close to nature, creating a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring our stay was smooth from start to finish. They were quick to assist with any requests, making us feel valued throughout our visit. This place is perfect for anyone looking to relax in a tranquil setting while still being close to the main attractions in Canggu. I can’t recommend this hidden gem enough for a unique and memorable Bali experience. We will definitely be back for another staycation soon!

Very beautiful hotel, i loved the fact that it’s not far from canggu center and also you can enjoy the calmness of thz place. The tree house we got is beautiful, every corner is a masterpiece. The pool is beautiful and offers a quite oasis to relax and rest feom your day. I totally recommand and will for sure go back

The treehouse villa was amazing and big. The hotel is 5 min by scooter to the city center (perfect to avoid the noise). Also the swimming pool is clean with a beautiful view. There are many restaurants around and you can order Grab or Gojek easily from there as they have a good WiFi. Excellent 2 nights in Grun ❤️
