Stunning place, perfect for getaway from hustle and bustle of the city. Resort have everything I needed: beautiful private beach, fantastic restaurant, great spa and nice swimming pools. The beach villa is with lovely beach view. Each of the buildings is separate from each other, which provides comfort and privacy. I was really happy to discover book shelf full of books left by previous guests. Breakfasts with the view and beach with breathtaking sunsets! Extremely friendly and warm staff making sure your stay is perfect. I definitely recommend this place to everyone who look for place to relax and enjoy the nature.

Everything is perfect. We enjoyed our stay very much. They also arranged Balinese dance performance on Christmas Eve, very thoughtful. On the downside, rooms especially the Spa can see the aging and need some maintenance. It is located at a very remoted location so do not expect any activities nearby, which was exactly what we wanted though.

Extremely nice beach-front villas. Best area for relaxation.

酒店擁有一個特別好看的海灘，環境優美自然。遠離喧囂，而且spa非常不錯👍早餐是點餐的，不夠吃可以多點幾樣。8-11點的樣子。吃飽了就可以吹吹海風，做個SPA。就是我住的第二晚熱水出故障了，耽誤了小一天的洗澡🛁。不過總體還不錯。服務人員好熱情。我在退房當天的早餐時間報了修，工作人員説要1個小時修護，當時11點了。修好也該退房了😄。就算了。這裏白人比較多。主打一個貼近自然。就是離機場太遠。開車要2-3小時。

非常棒的Villa。人少，海灘都沒有人，超級乾淨的海灘，如果可以，能住上一個月！要安排好車接送，非常難找的地方。然後要自己備一些事物，方圓幾公里，啥也沒有的！但是不影響住！很推薦，性價比高。

Sendo um sonho de casal conhecer a linda ilha de Bali...mas sem a confusão da cidade...encontramos a sugestão que nos foi dada pelo Tripadvisor...Kelapa Retreat and Spa, em Pekutatan e lá ficamos 12 noites em Maio de 2024. Bem... e há tanto para dizer...a localização é excelente, as villa`s são maravilhosas, bem como todo o Kelapa é um sonho, a equipa é extraordinária. Rodeado de coqueiros, com duas grandes piscinas de borda infinita em frente a uma linda praia de areia escura. O restaurante é maravilhoso. Fizemos 3 dias de tours "privadas", onde inclui carro (o dia todo), motorista, sendo que foi o próprio Kelapa, que nos sugeriu as rotas, conhecemos a cultura de Bali, conseguimos ir a todos os "cantos" - Ulun Danu, Munduk Waterfall, Jatiluwith Rice Terrace, Hot Spring, Bunut Bolong, Twin Lakes, Bali Swing, Mengwi, Ubud, Ubud Palace, Ubud Market, Besakih, Lempuyang Temple, Taman Tirta Gangga, entre outros. Fomos fazer snorkeling na ilha de Menjangang...foi lindoooo. O Kelapa possui atividades gratuitas quase todos os dias, de modo, a dar a conhecer a cultura Balinesa. O Spa é dos Deuses. Ainda tivemos o grande privilégio de assistir a um casamento/cerimónia, organizada pelo Kelapa. Sem dúvida, que lá voltaremos, tal como prometemos a "amigos" que lá deixamos... Kadek, Ketut, Made, Dicky, Eddie...entre tantos...o nosso muito obrigado por nos tornarem esta viagem uma "Viagem de Sonho".

Espaço incrível, muitíssimo bem conseguido e com uma envolvente brutal. Bungalows com óptima dimensão, super sossegados e recatados. Empregados muito atenciosos, disponíveis e dedicados. Recomendo sem pestanejar!

We came back to Kelapa 12 years after our first visit and it is as magical as ever. Everything is designed so you can be comfortable and enjoy the luxury of this beautiful resort. The staff are super friendly and bend over backwards to make your stay amazing. The food in the restaurant is phenomenal and I would highly recommend trying the local dishes they are amazing. We stayed in a pool villa which was so lovely, private and quiet and just beautiful. Highly recommend the onsite spa. We indulged everyday and every treatment was pure bliss in the beach front treatment room. It certainly will not take us another 12 years to return.

I would like to share our unforgettable experience in Kelapa Retreat and Spa. I stayed with my mother for a week there and it was worth it 100%. Very welcoming staff that actually care about you and meet all your needs! We were surprised by extreme hospitality that you don’t often meet nowadays and the fact that they will approach you personally just to double check if you’re happy with your stay and the service in general. Of course the main reason we chose Kelapa was the location and a very calm and relaxing environment of the resort, and we were not dissapointed! Beautiful nature of Bali island, clean beach and warm ocean — you can find all of that while staying in Kelapa! They also have an amazing spa and activities for every day, or if you want to take a tour to explore Bali more, there’re many options to do that! As for us, we took a tour to Ubud for the whole day with a driver that took us to some nice places on the way like a coffee plantation, silver crafting place and a temple. We were super happy as for the first timers like us it was very educating in the first place! And of course not to mention the cuisine. Delicious breakfast with a view will start your day! The variety and quality of food is impressive. For us we really enjoyed fresh seafood and fresh-squeezed juices and the coconuts just from the palm-tree next to you:) Overall, we had a very-very enjoyable and unforgettable experience in Kelapa! I’m recommending this place 100%!

Kelapa Retreat and Spa has spacious ground and clean lovely room with a big bathroom. The place was busy but you feel like you were the only person there. Friendly staff and great food. We always feel welcome here and always choose the place as our family staycation.

kelapa has very quiet beach with large garden full of coconut trees (kelapa). the staff is friendly and helpful. we were so happy to walk around the black sandy beach, and have some time relax on the long-chair provided. absolutely coming back for another stay!!!

Our stay was relaxing and the vibe was so peaceful. The resort has a wonderful staff and the rooms are clean with good space. If you want to stay away from crowded places to also try meditation and other Spa services then definitely stay here. Their Team is quick with responses too.

The staff were lovely, the views were beautiful, the room was nice and clean, nice furnishing, a fridge and outdoor and indoor showers. Generally peaceful. There is no television or phone in the room, but we didn’t mind that. Unfortunately the whole vibe was a sales push at every opportunity. The sales lady even came to us whilst we were just being served food and did not leave or understand social etiquette. This was a birthday trip for my partner and although some aspects were enjoyable, we were a little trapped there as the hotel doesn’t offer a shuttle into Medewi point and there is nothing else close by. We are both vegetarian and the vegetarian options are poor. We wanted to eat Balinese/ Indonesian food, but we ended up mostly eating nasi goreng and mie goreng for lunch and dinner for 3 out of 4 days because there were no other vegetarian options. My partner eats fish and he ordered the Pepes ikan which he usually loves, however, this version was dry - not great when served with plain rice and dry veggies. When we did eat outside the resort the food was better and at a lower price. The hotel’s kitchen also made a lot of mistakes with the food orders and would repeatedly forget either the sauce or the egg and on the last night the nasi goreng was so terrible, it tasted bland, had no greens or spring onion, they forgot the sauce and it had no flavour. They just put diced carrots and peas into the rice and I would go as far as to say that it was the worst nasi goreng I have ever tasted in the whole of Bali and Lombok- no love and no care in that dish at all. Such a disappointing last night. Of note, the hotel charges twice as much as other restaurants in Medewi point for the same dish so you would expect the quality to be better, not worse! I’m not sure if they had a different chef every day, but the same dish was hit and miss depending on the day you ordered. The restaurant manager tried to kindly rectify this by bringing two new portions, but it came so late we both went to bed by the time it arrived. Breakfast was fine, nice choice of fresh juices and jamu, however, there was no brown/ wholemeal bread for 3 out of 4 days, they ran out and didn’t replenish, which is not what we expect from a 5 star hotel. When we tried to explain this at the desk, they said thank you for the feedback, but made no apology and instead said they needed to cater for the older guests. This is a five star resort and it is unacceptable to say that you only stock food for your older guests, how ageist! I got the impression they were avoiding responsibility and were not sincere at the desk because they were scared we wanted a refund, even though we told them we were not complaining to get a discount or refund. We wanted to be heard and we wanted an apology. Thank you Kelapa, but we will not be coming back or recommending you to any of our friends and family that visit Bali. It’s 2024, please respect that a lot of people are vegetarian and vegan now and respect

Amazing food!!! Harto - the Head Chef is a passionate pro!! All food in the resort is TOP!!! We absolutely loved it! Even made tuna sashimi to order for me. Great resort, with infinity pools looking at the ocean. All staff are very nice, remember you by your name and what you usually order. They go extra mile and get you a postcard and a stamp if you need it! Early breakfast or extra water delivered to your room also not a problem at all. We recommend it truelly! And you are in a jungle far away from any noise, just the sounds of the ocean and nature.
