This is a little oasis away from the hustle and scooter-infested streets of Canggu. Easily walkable to the beach, restaurants, shops, etc, and right next to a laundry, motorbike hire place, etc. But the place itself is calm and chilled, with a lovely pool (albeit small - only two people can really swim simultaneously) and shaded, pillowed verandas to shelter from the sun. Staff are friendly and helpful and the free breakfast is good. The only real downside is that these traditional Balinese bungalows have zero noise insulation. At night, the nearby Deus ex Machina blasts out obnoxiously loud music until midnight, and you hear every frog, bird and raindrop. Definitely a problem for a light sleeper like me. I also had a couple of communication issues: we ordered a car from the airport but they forgot to book it, and on check in they told us we were checking out 2 days earlier than we were, which caused some confusion. So best to just double check these things.
