We are having renovation work done at home so again decided to stay at Premier Inn south basildon and we were not disappointed. The staff remembered us from our last stay and went out of their way to make our stay this time as stress free and enjoyable as last time. We had a slight issue with booking ( my mistake) but it was rectified with no issue. The room was clean and we'll presented and the bed gave a great 4 night sleep. Will definitely be returning and thanks once again to all of the staff for such a good service

Had a really good sleep, lovley stay and environment night staff are amazing Terri and kim. Should give them promotions. Breakfast was good too Pillows and bedding were clean and room was very tidy and presentable My Mrs would highly recommend

The hotel looks tired from the outside however inside is as expected. Reception were really helpful and I have no complaints about the lady who checked us in at all, she gave us all the information needed for our stay. The room smelt slightly musty however was very clean and was up-to usual premier inn standard. The shower was excellent and the bathroom was very clean. Beds were clean and as always super comfortable. Would i stay again? Probably not as when we returned to the hotel from an evening out, we were refused a drink in the bar. Other than that a nice stay.

Woke three times throughout the night by floorboards above room 17. DO NOT accept a room on the ground floor! 1am, 3:20am and 5:26am. Went to reception at 3:20am but no f@&ks were given. I would never stay here again. Also, £100 is overpriced for what you get. The £10.99 breakfast was also really bad. Mainly, we pay to sleep. If you can’t sleep, then the hotel is no good.

Consistently excellent breakfast. High quality cooking accompanied with friendly and attentive staff. There is always a wide range of choice ( really good poached eggs ) and the place is spotless. I always stay here when I am near Basildon and I have never been disappointed.

The hotel was very good value for money for what we needed for a one night family room stay! However I would not use the attached beefeater for breakfast! The staff were very stressed, unfriendly and rude and the food was very mediocre, so sadly this was not the best start to the day!

As always great prices, friendly staff. Was close enough to the venue that we had a family party, Uber cabs in plenty so had no worries of how to get there and back to the hotel after.

We were saying farewell to my dear mum and the wake was at Kingswood Club. This place was a perfect option as we could drink and collect our car the next day
