First, I must say the staff was outstanding. The hotel— a dismal representation of Hilton chain. As an Honors member, I use digital check in. Nope, said available, but it wasn’t. Staff apologies that it wasn’t working. So why have it available on your Hilton site? The room was dingy, frayed carpet, very distinct odor and a strange noise. When staff couldn’t identify the noise they offered to change rooms. They brought luggage trolley and picked it up after transfer. Second room was better. Still not up to standard Hampton accommodation. Breakfast. Host was good and kept things warm and stocked. The room was also warm! And cramped. What the heck! And the furniture in both breakfast area and room needed replacing. Like years ago. Overall, a decent night’s sleep. Worthy of the Hampton name and price? Emphatically no!
