Super 8 by Wyndham Beaver DAM

Horrible service. You walk in the front to register through a group of employees huddled around the ashtray smoking. Then you check in and they claim your card is no good. The truth is they entered the expiration date wrong. They have now charged my card three times. The lady when I checked in named Vicki said she was the manager. Then on Monday after my card was charged three times again I called talk to another lady who now said she was the manager and Vicki was her sister. She told me she didn't charge me more then once. I told her I talked to my bank who said it was charged and processed twice. The inly way to get my money back is they would need to refund the additional transactions. I was told "we don't steal rimoney" and was hung up on. Rooms are filthy and smell of mold. No security locks on exterior doors.

Good location clean visit housekeeping kept me with clean towels. I slept okay bed was okay my back didn't hurt. Could of had a variety of more cereal, fruit and juice for breakfast 😋 overall it was a very nice stay.

I needed a place to crash with an impending snow storm while I was in town. The first room I was in for an hour or so when I realized there were bugs in the bed, crawling on the pillow I was using; the clerk at the front desk put me in a second room after showing her the bugs. The second room wreaked of cigarettes. The third room I was placed in was cleaner than the first two, but had a stain on the sheets and a dirty bathroom. Find another place to stay. This was not worth the low cost.

Staff was amazing. Free breakfast. Would certainly recommend. Wi-Fi was a bit slow but no complaints. Had to live there temporarily and they treated me very well. Clean beds and the bathroom. Service from housekeeping was pleasant.

Stayed here as I was driving up U.S. Highway 151 and the place I wanted to stay was permanently closed. I was told that there were two Wyndham properties in Beaver Dam and this one was the first one I came across. A very interesting place to say the least! The room was clean and I slept well. Breakfast was passable. Served the purpose. Not sure my wife would have stayed here with me.

My room looked like it had not even been touched before I got there. It had not been vacuumed, there was dark curly Mens body hair in my sink and tub. There was a gross yellow ring around my tub. My bedding was stained. The lampshades were stained. My room smelled like a dirty cigarette

Be prepared for sketchy. Room wasn't horrible, but all doors to the outside are not locked. People just come in and wander the hotel, helping themselves to the lobby, breakfast, laundry, and will check truck beds in the parking lot, which I am assuming is for theft purposes.

Overall it is good. Great staff, clean, and nicely located. Close to several restaraunts. The breakfast was only fair. If you want something more than sugar and carbs plan to bring your own food or eat out.

No elevator so had to walk up 3 flights to get to room. The smell when walking in permeated the room. There were scratches all over the furniture. 2 lights were out. There were white "stains"all over the curtains. There were towels had stains on them. I was in the room no more then 10 minutes and I had to leave. I got in my car, made a call to get a room somewhere else, and checked out but was told I would still be charged for the room because Ilshe thought I was in the room more than 15 minutes. I paid almost $100 for a room that I could not in good conscious stay in for my health and well being.
