The location is only 200m away from the Jiankou entry. The hotel staff is very helpful in guiding how to hike to Jiankou

I stayed in this guesthouse in 2010 and again in 2024 and I would highly recommend it. The service at Zhaoshi Shanju Guesthouse was tremendous, the rooms are clean, and the location is perfect for any Great Wall hiking. The breakfast at the guesthouse is good and the corn congee is made with the corn grown by the family hosts. Dinner was delicious and had vegetarian options for my wife. The journey to get to the guesthouse from Beijing is definitely worth it (take the 916 Express from Dongzhimen in Beijing to its terminal and then take a taxi).

Excellent lodgings! Rooms were clean with a fantastic view of the mountains. Location was very convenient and the owners also offered taxi services since the area is a bit remote for conventional ride hailing apps. The hosts were lovely as well, very helpful with tips and recommendations for our stay, very fast with responses to questions.

The location of the hotel is awsome with great view to the wall in all directions. The owner are very friendly and helpful. From the hotel its only a short hike to the wall. I also enjoyed the food in the restaurant of the hotel. The food was tasty and more than enough. My room has a big panorama window with view to the mountains. I can recomment this small hotel and I will come here again if I visit the great wall.

Meine Tochter und ich blieben eine Nacht bei Zhao, weil wir auf der Mauer bis Mutianyu wandern wollten. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren sehr einfach, aber sauber. Das Angebot an Gerichten war sehr groß und das Essen schmeckte ganz toll. Wir haben auch Gerichte zum Mitnehmen bestellt und konnten sie im Getränkekühlschrank bis zum Start der Wanderung aufbewahren, das war sehr nett.

房間很乾凈，整潔温馨。作為鄉村民宿，算是很不錯啦～老闆娘人特別好，做飯也很好吃。是距離上山的路最近的民宿，爬山很方便。

房間乾淨，設施齊全，周圍環境不錯，正對着箭扣長城，看到鷹飛倒仰，落日的長城非常雄偉。老闆娘熱情直爽，有需求直接説，能解決立刻辦。就把這裏當家，需要什麼別等着自己做就行。停車很方便。

第二次入住，主要為航拍箭扣長城而來，位置好，環境不錯，房間乾淨整潔，老闆人很好，熱情周到，非常滿意，以後還會再來。
