Hotel Camposol

This is the second time staying here, lovely location lovely staff especially the man on reception very clean, don’t believe the bad reviews, yes all rooms don’t have balcony’s, there are no fridge or hairdryers and yes the rooms are small the pool is small and cold but lovely on a hot day the price we paid for this hotel was a fraction of the other hotels in the area. The breakfast is average, the evening meal there was plenty to choose from and the salad was the best always fresh, and yes I would book this hotel again.

Great hotel for a low star very clean rooms basic but comfortable pool small but sea only 10 minus walk away food good and all staff very pleasant can't fault it bit of hill to climb from beach especially if you suffer asthma but had a nice time here malcolm webster from Skegness uk

Do not go here! Room was smaller than my bathroom with small window. Catered only for the Spanish! No sun loungers so plastic chairs. Pool has never seen the sun never seen any1 init. Staff were friendly but was no help getting me a new room. Will never go back to thus hotel ruined my holiday

A few observations not complaints first for travellers.. Rooms do not have Tea/Coffee facilities. Rooms do not have hair dryers Safe's are not in the room but in reception e4 a day or e16 a week Do not take wine from the restaurant outside of a very rude barman will get angry with you as I found to my cost. The reception staff are top-notch and lovely The Hotel is very nice and spotlessly clean The cleaners do a daily visit and do a very good job. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It's a 5 min walk to the beach and bars. I was full board and over the week Breakfast......very good...good selection for UK and others Lunch.............very good...good selection or UK and others Dinner.............I found it a bit hit-and-miss as some of the food was in my opinion poor quality...but the selection was good. The staff in the restaurant were lovely and very helpful It's Buffet and I like that and again it was spotlessly clean. On the week I stayed it was 80% Spanish guests and that to me is a good sign...always go where the locals go. I enjoyed my time the and will return..it was great value for the money.

Not for British travellers. Room we were given a hot hello...window small and no light due to position it was facing. Moved to another room on request. Breakfast not good...small amount of choice. A budget hotel if you just want a cheap place. Staff fine and accommodating though.

Staff were friendly . Hotel was very clean but very basic. Entertainment was 3/4 times a week but aimed at elderly Spanish guests. Hotel is used mainly by Spanish guests, some were lovely but the majority were rude and not very friendly. We were half board . Breakfast was the best out of all the meals provided . We hadn’t included lunch in our booking but was given the option of having lunch for 12 euros pp every day if we wanted to. evening meals was not very nice at all. You have to pay for water with your evening meal too. The rooms were small. 4 beds in one room with hardly any space to walk around them . 3 beds had to be pushed together. Not ideal . No tea or coffee facilities in the room or fridge. Air con was a major relief and good. Wi-Fi in rooms with tv that gave you the option to change some programs to English. The cleaners and catering staff work extremely hard and were pleasant. Clean towels every day. The pool is small but ok. Never gets the sun so no sun loungers just table and chairs. Not ideal for sunbathing. If you book a hotel transfer be aware the coach doesn’t drop you off at the hotel you have to walk uphill with you luggage. The hotel is close to everything too. The beaches close by get very busy so if you can, catch a bus to a quieter beach. This hotel is ok if you only want to stay a few days. I would not recommend this hotel for a family holiday but for an elderly couple on a short cheap break maybe.
