We have been staying here for about 15 years, whenever we come to the Twin Cities. The family asked if we could stay somewhere else next time. I'm getting older (79), and the shower is a little difficult for me. It's in a tub, and the sides are rounded. This, there's only a few inches of flat surface in the tub. There's a handrail, but you have to turn around to access the shampoo and body wash. The room was worn with stains on the sofa. We started staying here because it was close to MOA, but the kids are grown and we don't go there much anymore. In the last year they started charging $10 for parking. They have no new expenses related to it. The parking area has always been there and always will be, so it just seemed like a money grab. It's also not a smart idea, because I heard several people complaining about it during our three night stay. It would have been better to just raise the room rate by $10, because most people wouldn't notice. Telling guests they have to pay $10 for parking seemed like a dumb management decision.
