good beach, free soft drink(makes the bar super busy 24h), the traffic is the pain in the **s, paid 500tl on taxi. I don't know, maybe good for family trip.

Отель понравился. Завтрак (шведский стол) отличный, людей в разгар сезона не сильно много. На собственном пляже всегда есть свободные лежаки. Красивая зона бассейна. Коктейли в pool bar не советую - вода водой при нормальной такой цене. Проблема с парковкой, но всегда на помощь приедет сотрудник отеля. Советую брать номер с видом на море, чтобы был свой балкончик, а не окна на тротуар.

Spent a week here with my young daughter. I was a bit nervous going on my own with her, but I needn't have worried. Staff were all exceptionally helpful, friendly and trustworthy, especially Ramazan in the restaurant. We felt so welcome, like a home from home. The hotel was beautiful, lovely pool even though freezing, my daughter didn't mind! Lots of loungers and the beach was lovely too. Spa pool and facilities were very nice and warm. Restaurant food was delicious everyday, we ate so well! As some have said, the water taxi is very useful 100 lira pp and runs every 20 mins. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. If you haven't visited Turkiyë before, something I realised once there is cash is king - card payment not possible in most places. And the cats! A cat-lover's paradise 😻 Thank you Salmakis, we miss is already and hope to see you again.

Tired 4 star hotel They have an abundance of everything but all is low quality. The food, facilities and decor are all average, nothing much to bring joy or excitement to your holiday. The price was fairly reasonable but the guests are a mixed bag, you will be unlikely to enjoy socialising with. We stayed for one night and would not return as bodrum has so many better hotels available.

THE GOOD. Palatial grounds. Amazing Turkish hamam. THE BAD. Rude and inattentive service. I was told I have bad handwriting when turning in my laundry slip. I needed help working my shower. After a visit and a call, no one ever showed. Mediocre buffet. Cocktails taste like some of the bartenders have never had a drink in their lives. Limited dinner service. No room service. THE UGLY. Salon's credit card machine is the only one at the resort that magically only works with Turkish credit cards. Others must pay cash. Manager and nail tech have an odd relationship. He hits her. The room design is extremely basic and I could see someone disliking the extremely firm bed. I loved the size. I left a designer handbag by accident. They somehow could not find and return it. It is not expensive but more so has sentimental value. I am regretful for leaving it. I'm more surprised it could not be found and returned however. CONCLUSION: I would not stay here again. I was going to give 2 stars but I was not penalized for an extremely late check out (I was at the spa!).

I have been coming to bodrum many years and spent the majority off summer staying in Salmakis hotel and can not fault it. The cleanliness is amazing . Plenty of food/drink options . All the Bar and restaurant staff always go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. The location of the hotel is perfect in between bodrum center and gumbet. Look forward to staying here again. It's home from home.

This hotel is fantastic and will definitely be booking next year again.This was our 3rd visit and again we could not fault this hotel. The hotel manager Kutlu and the restaurant manager Omer Kurt made sure we were well looked after. The restaurant staff were amazing especially, Can, Celal,Nazim, Abdul amongst others. The pool and the beach were amazing. The hotel has easy access to Bodrum via the regular water taxi. The visiting musicians that came to play at the hotel in the evening were very good. The all inclusive is excellent with fresh fruit and ice cream stall available all day. There are plenty of places to ear and drink with lots of good service. Most of the staff speak very good English and are always helpful if you need it.

Just perfect, good food, servis, location nice.big report with plenty space for everyone 24h bar on lobby so I use it when I arrive at midnight, clean room. Internationally spirits and good wi fi easy access for taxi boat who take you to town for just 100 liras :)

We have recently spent 10days at the Salmakis hotel in Bodrum and it was our first visit to Turkey. Overall, we had a pleasant and very relaxing stay. The location is quite good and has a water taxi from the beach to the centre of Bodrum for 100lira per person and this goes regularly until 1am. You could also walk to the centre in about 15-20mins but this involves very steep hills. I would suggest taking the water taxi every time. The view from the pool area and restaurant is beautiful and there is a private sandy beach for guests. The hotel was fairly quiet so there were plenty of spaces in the restaurant and loungers by the pool, maybe as it is coming to the end of the holiday season. The pool towels can be changed as frequently as you like at no charge. The restaurant staff are quite friendly, but most of them don’t offer to get a high chair for the baby and watch you carry it yourself. As an all inclusive guest, there are plenty of options for food in the buffet restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and you can also order from the menu in the snack bar if you don’t want buffet food at lunch time. This includes things like pizza, burgers, kebabs, pasta, fish etc. You can also get ice creams, cake and fruit most of the day and the reception bar is open 24hours. The room is quite spacious and has a fridge and kettle with teas/coffees. The cleaner comes around daily to give fresh towels and a quick clean, but the towels have occasionally smelt of smoke. This is not the fault of the cleaner though - she does a great job. The photos and instagram account of this hotel make it look spectacular; however, there are a LOT of improvements that need to be made to this hotel. This is a shame as it could be amazing as it maintains a lot of original features. The rooms are quite dated and tiles are cracked in the bathroom and the bedside light didn’t work. Also, we didn’t have a bath plug to fill the bath for the baby and waited over 1hour for the housekeeping staff to bring one. There is no rush about the staff whatsoever and they are all very relaxed and they decided to do maintenance above our room one evening at 11:30pm. The air conditioning is also very poor in this hotel, so if you struggle with heat, I would not recommend staying here. It works at a minimum. The WiFi works around most of the hotel for free but not in the bedrooms. My main criticism of this hotel is the cleanliness and hygiene in the public areas. The waiters NEVER clean the tables between guests and there is no sign of antibacterial spray/wipes in sight. They sometimes give you a refreshing wipe out of a packet, but this does not clean the table. This is the same in all restaurants/bar areas around the hotel. The food area in the restaurant is kept clean though. The staff also don’t clean around the pool area all day so there are cups and rubbish left around. The pool toilets are disgusting and definitely need renovating. The children’s park doesn’t seem that safe - some br

Only downside of the holiday was our cleaner who put us out of our room at 9am. Everything and everyone else was great. Third visit to this hotel and would go back. Food was great , lovely private beach and pool. Staff all happy to help and service with a smile. Celal, Mazil, Samet , Azkan and Barak were great. Special mention for Bilal and Taner for 3 years of excellent bar service. Simply the best

This Hotel needs to be refurbished. The pool area is dirty and sticky. Glasses of wine left in the morning. The Pool Woman bathroom is constantly without soap and toiletpaper, and falling apart. The houseekeeper did not clean the room properly. A coffee cup was not removed for 8 days, and towels left in the shower, not changed. Ashtray was not emtied and there was nothing was wiped down. The aircon was broken and needed to be fixed. and it took us 3 days to have sheets on the covers over the bed. Stayed in Room 626. This is the 5'th time we visit Salmakis and the standard is now below a 3* hotel. As always the staff at the Pool Bar and Restaurant is AMAZING and the food is PERFECT. However we are considering not returning if things aren't improved. Hope the 1* will make Management see this review, because we were many guest discussing this and they would not return to the Hotel.
