I was greeted by a small very wild, yapping dog, threatening to bite me. Several other people who were drinking at the bar, came across to me. I woman came and tried to qieten the dog and one came from the bar and stated 'We are closed'. No apology, no offer of help.

Food was not so good. The ingredients tasted like they were in the fridge for along time. Not seasoned food. Ambiance is ok. But the prices charged are high for a mediocre food. We will avoid next time.

This is a lovely little hotel. On arrival we were greeted by staff who were extremely friendly and attentive. Our room was lovely, really spacious with all the amenities that we needed. The bed was super comfy and we had a great night's sleep!. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and reasonably priced and again staff made us feel relaxed. Thank you for a great stay!

We stopped for a drink but ended up staying for lunch. The service was simply amazing. Very friendly staff. A little different but we loved it. A must try if you can. I hope to be back real soon. This belongs to the Urban Reef restaurant on the seafront which is another must.

This was our 2nd time here, and absolutely love coming here. The staff harmonise each other, with orders of food etc, and it was lovely to hear, and the staff are generally happy to see you. Our room was so lovely, comfy and spacious. Keep up the fantastic work

What a lovely place to stay! On arrival I was greeted with a very warm welcome,shown to my room, everything needed for my stay. Cleaned my room daily and provided with lots of various teams,coffee,hot chocolate and bottled waters. Surroundings is fabulous so relaxed. Food is lush I don't find reason to venture out. Very impressed and will definitely return..oh and five mins walking distance to the beach which is a great location as doesn't get as over crowed as Bournemouth pier. Well done guys!

We booked two great rooms for the weekend as a celebration of my daughter and her boyfriend's graduations. The hotel looked amazing online so we booked direct. Mark was really helpful in advance to ensure that the 'extras' that I wanted to arrange were in place. The hotel more than lived up to the descriptions I had read. Both rooms were fantastic and the staff were happy for us to arrive very late in the evening and served the 'welcome cocktails' I had asked for - they were great. During our stay, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent and the quality of the fittings, coffee, furnishings etc in the rooms was outstanding. All in, a real treat of a weekend and it was a pleasure to enjoy it in a great area with really helpful staff.

Chill atmosphere and brilliant staff! We visited each night during our stay for drinks and also one night had dinner - the fish of the day which was sooo tasty!! We stayed at a nearby Airbnb and the Wi-Fi didn’t work so the pub allowed my partner to work from there for a day. It was hugely appreciated and they were so welcoming. I’d recommend this place to anyone visiting!!

Chose this place due to good alot of very positive reviews, so glad I did lovely welcoming staff and the hotel has a very cool vibe and is just a few mins walk from the beach. Hotel has nice decor and bar and restaurant and all the meals I had were top quality.my room was a large room and is quality. The staff just to name a few ...Emily,Gary,Harriet and Simon were absolutely amazing and banter and service is first class , I have no reservations about recommending this splendid establishment..I'm deffo re booking .. and so should you !

We booked a one night stay and had a thoroughly lovely time! We booked one of the smaller rooms. It was well equipped and very comfortable. It was also spotlessly clean. We booked directly with the hotel and breakfast was included in the price. We both enjoyed breakfast and the coffee was excellent. We visited the bar after dinner and it had a fab outdoor seating area with chilled music. Lovely friendly staff too. We will definitely return.

Wonderfully located boutique hotel -with car parking! - lovely rooms - outstanding breakfasts and utterly amazing staff - the whole place has a relaxed and super chill out vibe ! We will definitely be back !!!

Most agreeable stay - wonderfully quiet room (8) that was beautifully clean and well presented - superb breakfasts and great coffee - On site parking for a few cars - we always secured a space - But the biggest credit must go to the amazing staff that create a relaxed and informal vibe that is truly genuinely relaxing - it sets this place way ahead of the chain hotels that abound in Bournemouth !

We booked this boutique hotel after seeing a repeat episode of four in a bed and weren't dissapointed. The hotel is lovely and rooms comfy and clean. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and really made the trip relaxing. The food is fresh and breakfast was great from the fresh tea leaves in the tea pot to the China to pour it into. As I understand the produce is all sort locally and doesn't dissapoint. There is a nice mix of drinks and cocktails and there is heated seats outside for the evenings. All in all a lovely place to visit and we will definitely be returning at some point.
