a very kind welcome by Ricci and Harp ! and that's it. At first sight, it looked like a nice hotel but once you entered the hotel and later the room, you found yourself in 'Faulty Towers' meaning in a hotel where time stood still for at least 30-40 years. this hotel needs a lot of love, more than some paint... it needs to have a total refurbishment. where it gets its rating, I don't know, maybe because it's been visited by a lot of elderly English people. But this is misleading the foreign visitor... the pictures on the internet do not reflect the actual room. everything was outdated, saggy matrasses, different types of lightning, very very, old-fashioned paintings on the walls, a small shower with a door not closing properly, breakfast was ok but it seemed that every piece of fruit in the pots was counted... sorry Ricci, but you can not make everything good by winning year after year a prize for the best-bloomed hotel in Bournemouth and showing these trophies all over the entrance... and by showing more than 50 'Thank you' cards of all these lovely English visitors. To me, it was merely a joke. I've been visiting the UK for more than 25 years now, work-related, and spent in over 500 hotels throughout the country... I know when I'm misled
