Friendly hotel. Staff very helpful. Beautiful location . Great garden area to sit out in. Relaxed atmosphere. Excellent food. Comfortable clean bedroom. Would recommend.

This hotel has to genuinely be one of the best I've ever stayed at.Every single staff member was absolutely amazing.The best customer service I've ever received from the moment we arrived to the moment we left.Huge shout out to the beautiful Emma and Rowan for the best dinner service and all the others ,who's names I didn't get over the last few days but deserve just as much credit. The hotel room was perfectly clean,great bed and decoration is stunning.Slept wonderfully.Bathtoom is fabulous with the best shower. The restaurant is just as spectacular with amazing food whether it's dinner or breakfast. The surroundings outside the hotel and the aesthetics are beautiful.If I ever travel up this way again, guaranteed I will be back. Thankyou for the personal touches in the room. Absolutely fantastic! Couldn't recommend any more of I tried. Thankyou for such a top tier experience.❤️

Excellent customer service from all staff we encountered! Special mention to Sean, the Assistant Manger. We had a small issue which he went out of his way to resolve. The riverside location is great, with good out door seating and very pleasantly decorated insides. The rooms were tastefully decorated with excellent showers and good quality, complimentary drinks & biscuits. Alcohol prices were pretty reasonable and the food in the restaurant was OK & quite fairly priced! The full English breakfast was great value, plentiful and good quality. The hotel was very clean thru out and out rooms were tidied daily. Plenty of free, off road or parking too! 100% recommend the hotel & staff and would definitely use again!

Tiny bedroom and small double bed. small bathroom. Lovely dining room shame about the overcooked food in the evening. Breakfast selection better. The location on the banks of the river Trent is beautiful and the outdoor seating area adjacent is great.

We arrived at the hotel and we were treated like old friends as we were there last year. Everyone was friendly and efficient, but I would like to pick out 3 people who were especially friendly and helpful. They were Adam, the manager, Haley, housekeeping, and Jalena, who was so everywhere.

When we walked in the 2 young girls were very welcoming. We were going to stay for lunch, but the group of "managerial type people" standing huddle at the side of the bar was a bit off putting. So left after our drinks. The decor of the place and the views were great, but just didn't feel very friendly

Stopped into the Riverside for Sunday Lunch on our way back from Stratford to Nottingham. The staff were friendly and attentive, but the food was quite dissapointing. We had the duo of roasts, which arrived very quickly, but was luke warm at best, suggesting that it had been out for some time, even though the pub was not very busy due to the poor weather. The only vegetables present (other than the damp roast potatoes) were a couple of cold parsnips. The venue was beautifully situated and we had hoped to visit again when it wasn't pissing it down, but if that is the usual standard of food, then we won't bother.

We came down for a Sunday dinner lovely view of the river and outstanding food and drinks staff were friendly and attentive and noticed when we were needing more drinks. The beer garden was immaculate with lots of seating and designated smoking areas

Yes our stay was as usual very good. The staff worked hard in the bar area, the food was also of a high standard. The beds could’ve been a bit bigger in the rooms.Ash,Sean & Geo. did their job’s excellently. We would stay again, thanks Riverside
