Good for a single night at the price paid, but if at a higher rate would opt for one of the better chains in the area. Pic are uploaded. THE GOOD: -Room was quite larger than most hotels -All the furniture is new and all surfaces newly painted. -The air conditioner works great. -Window shade was a roll up type that actually blocked outside light. -The floors are all new tile, no nasty carpet -Nice kitchenette with stove top, fridge, microwave, sink (no utensils, dishware, pots, etc) -Dining. Several restaurants within close walking distance. THE NOT-SO-GOOD: -Office and checkin is in a separate building. Major renovations in progress in both buildings. -There is no power outlet anywhere on the desk or anywhere on a wall around the desk, so that in order to use a laptop it was necessary to place it on a counter top in the kitchen. -With high ceilings, a tile floor, bare walls with no wall decor, and so many reflective hard surfaces, there was nothing to absorb sound and it was similar to being in an echo chamber. -No bedside lamps, only very bright overhead lights -No curtains on windows -Heavy remodeling in progress, only half the hallway is accesible -Very hard bed mattress -Only 3 small pillows on king-size bed -No bedside radio clock -No tissues THE VERY BAD: -Toilet - The toilet was of the cheapest model that had a very small diameter bowl. When I, an average size male, sat on the seat all my "body parts" didn't clear the seat and "impinged" on the front lip of the bowl. -Air conditioner - The air conditioner was EXTREMELY loud. Throughout the night, each time it started (which was about every 10 minutes) it made a very loud shuddering noise that repeatedly awakened us throughout the night.
