Tony and Steve have created a wonderful accommodation experience. The rooms are well presented and comfortable with lots of little luxurious touches. Breakfast is served in a stylishly decorated room and is delicious. The choice is, well, whatever you want really and is served by the friendly couple with chit chat and smiles. All together a wonderful stay and my wife and I will be returning soon.

We had an exquisite rest Steve and Tony warming home away from home what more do you want away from your home beautiful historic property with authentic creeks and lots and lots of charm ,rooms spotless all mod con and if you want the exceptional hilton touch go to the hilton this is real individuals who are 2nd to the hilton so nurgh! Will go again and have told family and friends though after this review may have a had time getting a booking ciao, ps did I mention the breakfast ,all made fresh and mouthwatering, and a choice fir every palet. Really friendly and welcoming arrival. The room was cosy, spotless and the beds were really comfortable. Tea, coffee and biscuits in the room was a nice surprise. Breakfast was fantastic and really set us up for the full day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Just spent a night in this cosy charming guest house. Steve and Tony the hosts were SO welcoming from the moment we pulled on their drive! Immaculately clean, lovely treats in room like fluffy dressing gowns, slippers, bottled water, well stocked tea tray, iron and board, chocolate on pillow..and the best of all was the homemade shortbread which was delicious. The breakfast was cooked well with good quality products, filled us for the day! Best night's sleep we've ever had away from home, the bed and bedding so comfortable 😍

This is the 3rd time we've stayed, and Steve and Tony always provide a wonderfully warm welcome. The beds are comfortable, the rooms clean and the breakfast is delicious. It is close to the Spa, so is perfect for any events/gigs, yet is quiet.

This was our second stay and was just as good as last time. The rooms are nice with little extras including dressing gowns and slippers. Melt in the mouth homemade shortbread biscuits were provided on the tea tray. The breakfasts are plentiful, well presented and very nice with choices of cereal, fruit or yogurts to start with followed by full English or your choice of items plus toast. Tony & Steve are very welcoming and friendly hosts. Would definitely recommend this b&b to anyone.

Booked last minute and found a gem . A very warm welcome from Steve and Tony . Good price for bed and breakfast for 2. Close to the beach ,harbour and town . Spotlessly clean , comfy beds and the tea tray in the room was stocked well and a special treat of homemade orange short bread (delicious). You could choose a breakfast time between 8 and 9.15 . There was a breakfast menu . I chose fruit salad and cooked breakfast choice of eggs ,fried ,scrambled, pouched and plenty of toast The hotel felt homely

Our 2nd time staying at South lodge on our bike trips when we are in the area. Tony & Steve are both really welcoming and great hosts who make sure you have a pleasant stay. Secure bike storage to the rear, great rooms with the little touches which makes your stay even better. Breakfast is excellent with a great variety all cooked to perfection. Thanks guys we will be back when we are in the area again.

Pros-A very enjoyable one night stay in room 6. The room was spotlessly clean and fully loaded. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The South Beach is less than 5 minutes walk. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice and quality. Cons- The en suite is quite cramped. On site parking is limited, but street parking plentiful.
