The unpleasant experience about this location started even prior to our arrival at the location, when we recieved a phone call from the receptionist trying to convince us to upgrade our room for 'a small fee' using the usual selling techniques. Little did she know that we have read Alchemy by Rory Sutherland and were therefore aware of such mischievous strategies. Fast forward, we arrived at the hotel and we wanted to check in to our room and once again the 'lovely' receptionist said that she will 'upgrade' our room free of charge because the motto of the place is 'ensuring clients have wonderful experiences' (a cliché as old as planet Earth). It still remains a mystery for the historians to figure out what happened to our initial room. We were led by a kind Nepalese gentleman into our room, and the first thing we noticed was that the number on our door was missing a digit (probably this is why they initially wanted to charge us extra to ensure that this misdemeanour was corrected). We stepped into our room and we have to admit that the view was absolutely lovely, however the room was small and crammed, reminding us of London tube at rush hour. Then we decided to take a shower and the first issue we noticed was that the drain was not functioning properly. Reminding ourselves that often life is suffering we diagnosed the problem - we removed the cover from the drain and 'surprise surprise' the drain was filled with flocks of hair (so many that it would make even a bulgarian powerlifter jealous). There were a couple of other issues such as stained furniture, some of the plastic covers from the bathroom door and part of the furniture was ready to fall, the metal pieces from the sink and the shower were partly rusted, there were no nets on the windows and you could easily hear your neighbours at every single point of the day and night (we had a very pleasant time overhearing another couple discussing about certain misgivings of their relationship, which was of course very reassuring and recomforting because it makes you realize that you're not alone in this world). Lastly, one aspect which really bothered us during our stay was that we have paid for service guaranteeing that our breakfast will be included, however on our first day we discovered that it was not the case and the only thing that service facilitated us was to add the bill onto our room and at the end of the stay only pay the difference between the cummulated consumption and the fee paid for that aforementioned service (this would not have been allowed under the reign of Vlad the Impaler, which is why so many Romanians rightfully miss him). Unfortunately we didn't get the chance to try some of the other available services such as jaccuzzi or massage, however if you decide to book this hotel because you were not bothered to read our block of text, we highly recommend you to book the massages in advance because the staff won't be very helpful on the day. Our general opinion is that, for t
