We booked A Bear and Bison for our July 2024 wedding. Lonnie, Brooke and the staff truly went above and beyond and made our wedding a truly special and joyous event. Many of our guests remarked that it was the best food they’d ever had at a wedding. They took care of setting everything up for our ceremony and reception, and made our day a breeze. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and fun to be around. Would 110% recommend!

I officiated a wedding for family friends on Monday, June 23, 2024. This is a place you want to have your wedding. A huge shout out to Brooke, Landon, and the rest of the staff, who worked selflishly to make a special day even more spectacular! I have never been at a hotel where you truly are the guest and are treated like royalty. If you are looking at a future wedding, consider checking this place out... you won't be disappointed!

My husband and I had our dream wedding here, which would not have been possible without the amazing Brooke and Lonny!! They are truly the best to work with. We planned with them for a year over email, sent 13 revisions of our wedding document, and countless other 'Just one more question!' emails. They were so patient with us and gave us wonderful advice/ tips! They are excellent communicators. On the day of the wedding, they were nothing short of perfection. Brooke took care of all of the set up and small details, and adapted to some changes on the fly - really took the stress out of the day! I was impressed by her attention to detail. The day went so smoothly! And Lonny - the food was FANTASTIC! Everyone was raving about the food!! Thank you for taking care of us and ensuring we were all so well-fed during our stay! If you are wanting an intimate, beautiful, and stress-free wedding in the Rocky mountains, THIS IS THE PLACE. BOOK BEAR & BISON. Highly recommend!!!

The service, staff, and owner are second to None! We were married at The Bear and Bison in 2014, an unforgettable weekend! Great food, drinks, and gold star service. We were so happy we decided to celebrate our 10th anniversary here again. No change in 2024 with the service and small special touches. We will never forget the times we spent here and will continue to support a very special venue. All our friends and family can not say enough good things about their experiences here, they were blown away by the food and special attention the staff gives. I would highly recommend a visit to see for yourself!

We had our wedding through one of the elopement packages for just the two of us and it was amazing. We were so well cared for, the process was easy from start to finish, and we had the perfect time. I highly reccomend booking your wedding with Bear and Bison!

This was the most wonderful, low stress venue! We do appreciated all the assistance Lony & Brook provided with their detailed planning documents, recommended vendors, day of coordination, printed day plans and advice for our guests. It made planning a wedding from a distance a dream! We used the officiant they kindly provided, & chose all our vendors from their recommendation list, & received outstanding service from all of them! The food was absolutely outstanding, & we received so many compliments from our guests who ate their full and then some! Brook decorated the outdoor gazebo beautiflly, and the atmosphere (& photos) were perfect. We went with our photographer to have a photoshoot in the mountains after the ceremony and those are exquisite too.

Exceptional venue with quality service! Lonny, Brooke and staff go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect for you. Food is fantastic!! Didn't have to lift a finger on our wedding day, such a relaxed and beautiful atmosphere. We couldn't be happier with how our wedding day went.

Quiet location and very attentive staff. We attended as part of a wedding party and the Inn was very accommodating. Very low key approach to check in and check out but very attentive on all service in between. Out only issue was that the extra night we added to our stay was not priced as the two nights booked for the wedding and reception.

Right on the front of the building you see a sign that says this is listed as one of the "Charming" inns of Alberta. It doesn't lie! The building is a lovely log structure that fits perfectly with the surroundings. The hot tub affords a great view of the "Three Sisters" while a screen of trees affords some privacy from the road. A gourmet breakfast arrives magically at your door at the appointed time with French press coffee. Chef and Innkeeper Lonnie Middleton produces a three course offering that makes you wish he did lunch and dinner too! We didn't get to use the in-suite soaker tub but we have that on our list for the next visit.
