One Hotel Casablanca

BED BUGS!!! We checked into the room and first noticed there was garbage still on the floor so it wasnt properly cleaned. We went out for the day and asked them to clean the room. Came back a few hours later and room was never cleaned and we lifted the sheets and there DOZENS of bed bugs laying around. They offered us another room and when they took us, up the room obviously hasnt been cleaned as all the trash cans were still full of the previous guests trash. At that point we didnt feel comfortable staying there and went to another hotel. They refuse to refund and were not helpful at all so definitely beware.

One Hotel Casablanca is not a 5 star hotel by European standards, just a 3 star in terms of facilities, services, attention to details, etc...We had stained towels, no hot water all the time, bed linen changed every 2 or 3 day, key card to reactivate every day etc... but the biggest issue is the noise outside the hotel. Our room was facing the one way street and it was like sleeping on the street in the middle of so much noise, day and night with no respite with people hanging around outside talking loudly, shouting, screaming, arguing, cars and motor cycles honking their horns etc... The area is relatively safe but the hotel is on a smelly street littered with rubbish and lined with people begging, we even saw a child sleeping in a bin bag next to the hotel.

Spacious, luxurious and quiet room with a good view of the hustle of the city. The hotel is centrally located walking distance from all of the major attractions. Staff is respectful and helpful. The breakfast is fresh and has variety. Will recommend.

This place is an absolute scam! They say themselves that it is a 5-star place but that is a major lie. The room was absolutely filthy. Cob webs hanging from all corners of the ceiling, bathroom not cleaned at all, the water in the bathroom zink did not run, the draines smelled extremely bad and made the whole room stink etc. etc. When the staff were made aware of this, they offered a room equally as filthy and finally, we checked out and moved to another hotel for the final two nights. After many weeks of struggles and correspondence with the hotel via email (also showing them pictures of the state of the room), they finally agreed to reimburse the charge for the final two nights that were not used because we checked out early – HOWEVER – they insist to only be able to pay the money back in cash at the hotel reception (even though a Mastercard was used for the online booking and payment), so effectively, they are not giving us the money back, as is it a ridiculous suggestion for us to travel back to Morocco to collect the money. We cannot stress enough, how much people really should stay away from this place!

Comfortable room on the 5th floor in the centre of Casablanca, about 40 minutes from the airport, close to most things easy to find or get a taxi back if eating away from the Hotel, breakfast was good. Staff were very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to help. Would recommended.

And the winner of the BIGGEST RIP OFF award is: “One Hotel Casablanca” The rooms are very dirty, the floor hasn’t been cleaned because crisps, dust and hair from previous guests where all over it. Even the bathroom was so filthy that neither of us took a shower. Has it ever been cleaned at all in the last 80 years? Furniture and carpets are so old, worn out and also dirty. So absolutely not worth the money. I would rate this hotel with 2 stars. Dear management, Please stop posting fake positive reviews!!!! It makes absolutely no sense. Costumers will scroll further to see the real and honest comments anyway.

Terrible experience, this hotel is a scam. I spend a lot of time in hotels and this is probably the worst experience. This is not a 5 star hotel, not 4 stars either. This is more in category 2 or 3 stars. Terrible service, no desire to provide service. There are lots of hotels in the area, this should be the last resort if everything else is full. But do not pay in advance, then you will be scammed, be careful. I booked this without checking carefully and later discovered that there are many people who have bad experiences. Unfortunately, the hotel is as feared and I do not wish anyone to make the same mistake and therefore want to warn. The hotel will probably respond to this review with some lies, that's what they do best.
