We visited for four nights and stayed at Casa Earth. This is a separate building, which has five bedrooms and five bathrooms. Everything is very modern, smart and functional inside. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and all have air-conditioning facilities if required. Outside the views are amazing. The small complex includes other B&B rooms, a beautiful swimming pool, an indoor breakfast area and a tiny little chapel. There are so many little corners where you can hide yourself if required to read, plan the day’s adventures and just soak up the incredible view. Whoever originally built this place had a real eye for stunning views. You can see for miles, towards Siena, San Gimignano and Monteriggioni. Being able to eat outdoors until late evening, watching the sun setting over the Tuscan hills is a big plus point. The breakfasts are very varied, also served outdoors if required. The pool is amazing and again the views from there are stunning. Overall a really classy place but not stuffy. Very friendly staff (Alice & Chiara particularly) and great friendly clientele. We would certainly recommend to others.

WOW! The seclusion of the road onto the property conceals this gem until the last moment. Beautiful grounds and old world (1000 years or so) castle are stunning. The suite was gorgeous. Great light coming into the bedroom and bath. Beautifully appointed with a walk in closet, office area, sitting room and great bathroom. The grounds are gorgeous and the pool was exactly what we needed to beat the heat. The wine was excellent ( Chianti Classsico) was our favorite. Our meal on the terrace was fantastic..the pastas were outstanding and the strawberry soup for dessert was delightful. Breakfast was excellent as well. Great cheeses, fresh fruit, juice and meats are the perfect way to start the day. Prepared eggs can also be ordered and they were done expertly. Finally, the staff was outstanding. From the front desk: Alice, Sara and Constanza to our servers Davide and Claudia and chef Guilio (his preparations complimented by the wines worked perfectly). The staff at breakfast were so kind an attentive all we could do was smile. Thank you Karina, Kuala and Luana. This is a must for your Tuscan itinerary. GS

My husband and I are on a ten week holiday in Europe and our stay at Castello La Leccia was a definite highlight. The rustic exterior is so appealing and the rooms and interior have been elegantly and thoughtfully refurbished. This property exudes class without any pretentious attitude! The location is perfect for exploring Chianti and the swimming pool was a welcome relief from the searing Tuscan sun. We chose a deluxe room which was extremely spacious and so well appointed. Robes, slippers, separate sitting room with a desk and fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Lovely bathroom amenities and super large and comfy bed. Daily complimentary water which we have not experienced in many Italian hotels this year. The staff are absolutely wonderful! From Sara who checked us in and showed us around the property to the unforgettable group in the kitchen. Special shout out to Muella (sp?) for her enthusiastic and professional assistance. Nothing ever a problem for her. Breakfast was varied and delicious with an optional cooked menu. Dinner proved delicious as well including Wednesday night pizza. Both dining experiences enjoyed with the rolling hills of Tuscany as a back drop! Que bella! I am regretful that we had only two nights at Castello La Leccia as they were booked out and we wanted to extend our stay. However, I would definitely return and would highly recommend this property. Stunning property with beautiful views. We stayed here for four nights while traveling in Tuscany. It is a beautifully restored small castle. You enter on a dirt road lined with tall cypress trees. The views on the back of the property are just stunning. Be sure to catch the sunset. We stayed in a double deluxe room which was very spacious, and offered 2 levels, one sitting area and the bedroom with ensuite bath. Coffee, tea, mini bar were included complimentary in the room. The entire staff are so welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast is wonderful, a display of local cheeses, meats, pastries and eggs made to order. The wine tour is complimentary, and highly advise. The guide is wonderful in explaining their wine making process and it followed by a tasting. If you are traveling in the Castellina in Chianti region, Castello La Leccia will offer you the perfect stay!!!

When I dream of staying in Tuscany, Castello La Leccia is what I picture. The superior double room was beautiful, with expansive views and a lovely soaking tub! We loved sitting outside and having a glass of wine and looking out over stunning Tuscany. Breakfast was excellent. The wine was great and we enjoyed the wine tour. We were told it was not possible to eat dinner on the terrace outside because it was too cold. We found the temperature pleasant and part of the motivation for booking was our desire for al fresco dining (still traveling COVID conscious) and to enjoy the beautiful views.

Wow. Absolutely beautiful hotel with incredibly helpful, kind and knowledgeable staff. Exactly what we were hoping for in a Tuscan vacation. The staff will treat you like family from the minute you arrive to the minute you check out. The grounds are immaculate and the buildings strike the perfect balance between traditional Tuscan villa and modern amenities. The hotel sits on top of one of the highest hills in the region, providing breathtaking views from the minute you arrive. You can eat all your meals outside and truly enjoy the views during sunrise, midday and the famous sunsets which do not disappoint. The hotel is the perfect size in that you can get to know the staff during your stay and even make some friends with the other couples staying there. The pool area is serene and beautiful - perfect place to relax each afternoon after visiting nearby vineyards. That said, you won’t want to leave as the hotel has incredible wine and provides private tours. Pizza night on Wednesday was delicious, as was each breakfast and each dinner with nightly specials. An absolute gem, I don’t think you could ask for anything more. Cannot wait to return here. Highly recommend!!
