Located in the middle of the city centre close to castle and local attractions. Unfortunately room backed into a night club which played music till 4am. If you are a light sleeper this could be an issue. Other then that lovely place.

To start, the room we booked & paid for wasn’t even available at all. I booked a family room which consisted of one double + two singles but apparently it had been closed off since a few days previous but no one even had the decency to let us know so I could have arranged alternative accommodation. On arrival, we were offered a ‘small family room’ which literally consisted of one double + one single in a tiny box size room. I said this wasn’t suitable as I needed an extra pull-out bed and my daughter needed somewhere to store her wheelchair but there wasn’t anything else available so we had no choice but to take it. It took us over 25 minutes to check in because of this. Regardless of how many beds were in the room, this was totally unacceptable because they had days before our arrival to notify us and nobody bothered to. The shower in the room was lovely although the room needed lots of cleaning & fixing - toilet constantly running water, broken door stopper. After the chaos at check-in, we didn’t even bother mentioning anything. Breakfast was lovely, but very minimal compared to other branded hotels which we often stay at - little things like no fried eggs, no syrup. Good price and close to the castle, but doubt I will stay here again

Hotel is in a great location for the shops and the Christmas markets which we went to Cardiff for, we were on the 4th floor, there was no noise from the street, the bed was comfortable and bathroom looked new. We had a meal and a few drinks in the hotel that was fine Will definitely go back

Excellent customer service by the duty manager.. room was fantastic. Great price. Great location. Would definitely stay again when In Cardiff city centre. Location is perfect for the city centre. The bar is lovely and cosy too. the manager was extremely helpful and accommodating.

Had a great stay at Cardiff Central, warm, clean and comfortable, slept really well with no internal or external noise. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you want to go shopping or for a night out and it's right in the middle of everything.

Unable to leave our case without paying to check in early. We still had to take our cases with us for q.5 hours
