My friend at Chandigarh during a dinner meeting on 09th March, 2024, mentioned about this property since he had stayed there sometime back and was all praise and suggested we go n stay there. So we decided to go and stay there during our trip in CHAIL from Nagpur . We had already booked Hotel CHAIL palace for 02 nights and since our tour was flexible , we decided to stay the 3rd night at this property. We landed in our Taxi on the 15th of March, 2024 at around 1100h in the morning. We were stopped at the gate and when I told that we did not have prior booking but wished to stay there and requested that we be allowed to at least speak to someone responsible, we were rudely refused. I have no complaints against the staff at the gate since they were following instructions given by the higher ups. My question to the management is , How do you wish to promote your property if you turn away guest at the gate ( A senior citizen couple ). The management needs to look into the issue highlighted seriously and come out with some practical and guest friendly solution.
