Ciel Collection Suites

Ciel Collection suites is an absolute Gem. Located close enough to Old Town to access sites and facilities, but far enough away from most of the tourists. It's set among local restaurants and close to a nice little beach. The suites are very well designed, great finishes, comfortable bed and maintained to a high standard. Book the suite withe the balcony if you can, great for an aperitivo. Ciel Collection Suites is highly recommended.

We spent two nights here enroute to our hotel in Platanias in order to spend some time in Chania. The room was spotlessly clean with everything you would need and we were lucky to get the room with the terrace overlooking the beach and coast line. Parking is available next to the apartment and free. We were warmly greeted by Joanna who, with her team, provides all the care and attention needed but also great recommendations for places to visit on Crete. Joanna is a credit to these apartments with her warmth and welcome. The beach which is very close by, is great for a swim and they provide beach towels to use. Put your towel on one of the hooks in the sea wall or in one of the gaps. The bar next to the apartments was perfect for breakfast and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. We had a really good two days and it was the perfect start to our fortnight on Crete. Thank you to Joanna for your love and support - it meant a lot.

We had a great stay at Ciel. Cozy rooms, friendly staff, and a perfect location near the Old town, the Venetian harbor and the town center. Spotless clean and great value for money. Highly recommend for a comfortable and welcoming stay in Chania.

Just a perfect place to stay in Chania. On the more quiet side of the old defencive wall of Kiprou, but close -only a few minutes walk- from the Old Venetian Port, old town narrow streets, shops and restaurants. We stayed in a room with a lovely own terazze, with a view to the turquoise sea where you have an easy access by the stairs from the promenade.

The apartments are kept spotlessly clean. The bed is very comfortable & comes with a choice of pillows to suit your comfort. Our room came with a wonderful balcony with a view across the clear water of the bay. The room is very well equipped & nothing is too much trouble. The staff are on hand or by phone for any queries or recommendations for visits or restaurants.

The hotel was in an excellent location right on the water, very clean, employees are very responsive. Small hotel but has everything you need. Joanne and Adriane were amazing and helped with everything. The transfer service was also incredible and extremely helpful.

There are lots of really good things about staying here, all of which add up to an excellent hotel. The location is great, maybe 20m to the beach where there are clear waters and a lovely gently shelving beach which is ideal for swimming. The actual sand area is small, so better for swimming than sun bathing. It is a short walk to lots of bars and restaurants and a nice 20min stroll to the Venetian harbour. We had the room with the terrace which we used a lot, it has a table and deck chairs and is great for reading and relaxing. Part sun, part shade. The bed was comfy and it's quiet, the only sound at night is the waves. Bathroom is nice and new, super clean, the sink is a bit odd but works well enough. All the staff are super helpful and friendly, they really want you to get the best from your time and have great recommendations to try out. From what we saw Chania looked the best of the big towns to stay in on the Northern coast with lots of restaurants and bars and trips but not overdeveloped. There is no food in the hotel but you can go to local bars, or we went to local bakeries and fruit shops and ate on the terrace. I would stay here again.

I had a wonderful time there and can highly recommend it. Great location and close to everything. The entire space is tastefully decorated (loved the interior SO SO much). The housekeeper was one the kindest humans I have ever met in my life. On my first day, she knocked on my door and asked to come in so she could show me all the features and amenities of the room as well as make restaurant recommendations. She was incredible! (And the restaurant recs were spot on).

JOANNA IS AMAZING! We absolutely loved our stay at Ciel, We had been travelling across Europe for 6 weeks and this was by far our favourite stop. The room was absolutely perfect, Clean, spacious, light filled, and comfortable. Ciel Collection Suites provides every kind of added service you could possibly need on holidays. Johanna the host was seriously the most Lovely, kind hearted person we have met! She was like our own private itinerary planner whilst we were in Crete. She arranged us a hire car, and sent us to all of the most amazing recommended beaches and restaurants. She even gave us beach towels and a beach Umbrella to borrow! Staying at Ciel was like staying at your favourite family members house, Joanna really made us feel like we were at home and taken care of. If we are ever lucky enough to come back to Chania, we will be staying here again and hope to see Joanna, she seriously made our stay so great and we will be forever grateful!
