Crowne Plaza Chengdu City Center

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Crowne Plaza Chengdu, and overall, it was a very satisfying experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm and professional service. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I was promptly shown to my room. The room itself was spacious, well-appointed, and offered all the amenities you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of exploring Chengdu. The bathroom was clean and modern, with a great shower that had strong water pressure—a small detail that makes a big difference. One of the standout features of Crowne Plaza Chengdu is its excellent location. It’s situated right in the heart of the city, making it easy to access popular attractions, shopping centers, and restaurants. This convenience made my stay even more enjoyable, as I could easily walk or take a short ride to wherever I needed to go. The hotel's dining options were also impressive. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of both Western and Chinese dishes, ensuring that there was something for everyone. The quality of the food was high, and I particularly enjoyed the fresh pastries and local specialties. The facilities at Crowne Plaza Chengdu are top-notch. The fitness center was well-equipped, and the indoor pool was a great place to relax after a long day. I also appreciated the business center, which made it easy to catch up on work when needed. While the hotel is slightly older, it is well-maintained, and the charm of the classic design adds to the overall experience. In summary, Crowne Plaza Chengdu exceeded my expectations in terms of service, comfort, and convenience. It’s a great choice for both business and leisure travelers, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Chengdu.

This hotel is a bit old however it was well maintained! The service here is exceptionally good! They took note of the smallest details, like how birthday balloons and cake given to my friend without us notifying them.

It was quiet and convenient and clean, but the remodel they’re doing is much needed to update the amenities which are good but not modern great.

Very old hotel that hasn’t renovated since 1996. The tape is old and noisy when use. The corridor smell bad and the room has a mould smell. I slept one night and I left the next morning although I booked for 2 nights. The carpet is dirty and full of stains…it must make me sick. Come on, Crown Plaza hotel….you can’t be that lousy, right? What’s happening? I don’t believe the good review in ctrip. I booked the hotel after seeing the review but I think the review can not be trusted.

It is a good location hotel. Although the facilities are a bit out dated but it is very clean. The service is excellent. I enjoy the breakfast and the staff are very friend and accommodating. I will choose this hotel again in future visit to Chengdu

Perfect location.3 minutes walk to Chunxi street where you can enjoy shopping and gourmet with tons of choices.

The location of the hotel very strategic. Breakfast provided are good. There are many local food stalls nearby hotel.

Excellent location and service. The hotel is a little bit on the older side and could use a bit of an update but overall, we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was both eastern and western style. Since we were there during the May 1st holidays, there were many guests but the staff handled everything smoothly. It’s great for families but if you are looking for something a little more aesthetic, this isn’t it.

Hotel is in a good location. Service is good. The rating could have been better if the hotel could control the cigarette smoke contamination of the rooms and air conditioning. Worst was when at the check in counter, when a guest asked if he could smoke in the room since they were supposed to be non smoking. The staff at the counter replied, 'go ahead and smoke no worries'
