Central Hotel Boutique

Central Hotel Boutique is one of the most elegant and beautiful hotels I've ever had the pleasure to stay at! Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendly reception and offered a delicious, refreshing drink made with the local liquor known as Sotol. The manager, Fernando, personally welcomed us and offered his assistance in anyway. How impressive is that!? The hotel itself is a gem....a restored 200 year old building that has preserved and displayed the incredible artifacts found during the renovation. Our room, "Neruda", was spacious, clean and original. The bathroom had natural light, an enormous and luxurious shower, and plush linens. Our continental breakfast was part of our reservation and over the top in luxury, service and taste. Everyone we encountered in the hotel was beyond helpful and friendly. We had a very early transport one morning and the hotel staff offered to package our breakfast for us to eat while en route.. .unbelievably thoughtful and generous! We were so delighted with every aspect of this 10 room boutique hotel and can , unequivocally, recommend this to anyone who enjoys class and elegance along with an excellent night's sleep!

All of the staff are excellent and friendly. Reception, bar, restaurant, and cleaning staff were all very nice and helped with what ever we needed. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel is old and beautiful. It’s a real gem in the city. The Restaurant. This place is VERY good. We ate here several times because the menu was very good and we couldn’t decide on a single item. The soup will be my new obsession because that is amazing. I don’t remember the names but they were such a great team. Can’t recommend this hotel enough. It’s worth the visit.

A beautiful house converted into a small Boutique hotel, a great restaurant for breakfast and dinner with views of the cathedral. Nothing better than a quick walk around plaza de Armas to start the day. Wonderful employees at the hotel, this is a hidden gem right in the center of Chihuahua.

I was extremely pleased that my employer allowed me to spend my one-night stay here. It is centrally located in the historic Zona Centro and was an easy walk to the Pancho Villa home/museum. The hotel has a superb upscale restaurant and a full bar. Had I known about the Jacuzzi, I would have brought swim trunks. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was more than just satisfactory. Loved the large bathroom and walk-in shower. The bed was super-comfortable. If I had to criticize anything, it would be the thumping dance music pumped out to the patio (and within earshot of the restaurant). It went deep into the night. Some mariachi would have been much better.

The Central Hotel Boutique is such a nice place to stay! The building is over 100 years old and has been beautifully restored. We stayed in the Victor Hugo room and really loved the room layout and decoration. When we checked in, the hotel offered us a cocktail made from Chihuahua's sotol spirit (similar to tequila but different). The cocktail was amazing! The hotel is adjacent to the cathedral, and there are plenty of places to eat and shop within walking distance to the hotel. The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and helpful. The food at the hotel's restaurant is amazing! All of the dishes we had a breakfast and dinner were tasty and really unique. The courtyard area is a beautiful place to work, have a drink, or relax, both during the day and at night. I highly recommend this hotel! It's definitely my favorite hotel of 2024!

Excellent stay. Staff very attentive. Location, location!!! Right in the middle of down town across from the Cathedral. Museums close by. Hotel was clean and very nice. Small room and large bathroom. outside patio for food, drinks or lounge. Great local food. St the hotel’s restaurant. Servers go out of their way!!!

Beautiful, intimate, amazing service, drinks and food! From the moment we arrived, we could feel the care that the staff put into their restaurant and hotel. Service was their top priority…but the room and the amenities were also top-notched. The rooms were clean, the beds comfy and they even had Nespresso. ♥️

The hotel is very well located in central Chihuahua. Very beautifully boutique hotel. The rooms very spacious and comfortable. The service and food was top class. It has a central terrace with a colonial vibe, great to hangout. I highly recommend this hotel either for business or pleasure. Congrats

It really does pain me to give this beautiful hotel 3 stars, but there is a major miss by the hotel. Starting with the positive: beautiful, quaint and very boutique style. The service from everyone working the interior (housekeeping, restaurant, bar, reception) was excellent. The restaurant is fantastic, the continental breakfast offered is simple and excellent. The best pan dulce I’ve ever had. The rooms and especially bathroom have ample room. Our room was located in the courtyard area and was just lovely. Here is the incident that leaves me to give the hotel less than stellar review. We came into Chihuahua for a family wedding. When we checked in, they did tell us the front doors are closed and locked at 11pm so come in through the back (parking lot area) if we come back after hours. Saturday night we left for a wedding reception, dance and we’re brought back well after hours (2:30am), we came around the back to be dropped off to find the parking lot gate and iron door locked, guard station dark with window shades drawn, no way to get in. The card reader os at the back door and you have to walk through the small parking lot to get to it. But the parking lot was closed off with no one (meaning the security guard) in sight. We rattled the door, waved at the video camera but nothing, went to the front (knowing it was locked), pressing the doorbell hoping someone would check the front, called the hotel as well with no one picking up. After 30-40 minutes trying to figure out what to do- has already gone across the street at Quality Inn to see if they had a room available for the night as well as another hotel around the block. We tried one last time around back to see if there was something we missed. My husband rattled the iron door and made noise and we see the guard stumbling out of the dark guard station to let us in. HE WAS ASLEEP. Found out he is the only staff at the hotel overnight and calls to the hotel as well as the front buzzer goes to the reception area (where there is no one overnight). While granted, the guard should not have been asleep in the first place, there need to be a way guest have access to their rooms even after hours- key pad at street level to let you into the parking lot to get to the back door, a door bell that notifies the guard station or whomever is the person on duty overnight. This oversight is completely unacceptable, especially for such an establishment. I would still recommend this hotel but only if you are guaranteed to be in the hotel by 11pm. If you have events to attend where you would be returning after hours, I would NOT recommend this hotel, use one where you know the front desk is manned and you can easily access your room after hours.
