Holiday Inn Express Hotel

I really love this place because of the reception. She was very helpful to me for everything. She tried to speak English with me so it was convenience. The hotel provided shuttle bus to pick up guests at the airport even at night. I feel comfortable because I was traveling alone. Hope to stay here again if I go to Chongqing next time.

The airport transfer service was good except that the instruction as to where to catch the transfer from airport to hotel was confusing to a first time visitor. Other than this the service of the receptionist on duty, Xiao Hong was very efficient and very helpful.

Good deal with trip . Hotel is big and clean. Staff are very friendly . Hotel reception are different place with Hotel. Hotel need to walk out side to get other building but near by. Other hotel abit old but for me more important room is clean.

Booked this hotel so I could rest and freshen up before my wee hour flight. This is NOT the hotel chain I was thinking of when I booked it, but the room was spacious, clean, and served its purpose. The location is about 30 - 40 min car ride from all the tourist attractions with limited food options available. The free 15-minute airport transfer was via a van. I was a bit surprised when I had to squeeze with other passengers who were dropped off at different hotels before the driver sent me to the airport. This was due to my late/ early flight timing.

We used this hotel to rest after arriving at the airport at 1:30 a.m. The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service, shared with other guests. The room was adequate for a one-night stay and even featured smart controls for all the amenities, which is quite interesting if you understand Chinese.

The hotel was okay, given its location. It felt dingy at first. The rooms aren’t big enough as advertised. The room I was in was intelligently managed with a device you need to speak to in Chinese so that you can get things like the AC working. This wasn’t seamlessly integrated for foreigners since it only caters for Chinese speaking people. It would be great if the hotel offered tea or coffee sachets if they will have a kettle in the room. The room was not friendly suited for people to stay there for a while, the size of the room forced one to get out and find something outside to do.

This is not the actual Holiday Inn Express but just using the name with no actual to IHG. The hotel building is not in the same building as the lobby, have to walk to another building, which is shared with other businesses on the same floor. This makes safety a huge concern as a lot of people can access the floor where guests stay. Keycard is not required to use the lifts to the hotel rooms. The hygiene of the room is worrying too as there’s cockroach in the room. The window in the toilet cannot be closed properly and appears to be able to be seen through from the outside. Overall, it’s a very bad experience.
