65 km to the northwest from Kuusamo, 18 km to the south from the center of Posio, lake Livojärvi 30 m (length 20 km, width 2.5 km), own rowing boat.
Wood-built villa, built in 2022. Spacious living room/kitchen, double bed in bedroom, two separate beds in second bedroom (can be attached if needed), 2 folding mattresses (can be placed freely if needed), washroom/WC and covered terrace. The sauna has wood-burning sauna stove and water supply (cold and hot water), access to the sauna via a covered terrace.
Electric car charging possible for an additional fee, 0,29€/kWh. Payment to the owner according to consumption. Maximum charging power 11 kilowatts. In addition, the villa is equipped with an air source heat pump, which can be used also for cooling. Indoor units are located in the living room/kitchen and both bedrooms.
The beach is very shallow, and the swimming depth can be reached not until tens of meters from the beach. Ball chargoal grill and small patio on the beach.

In winter, 2 pairs of sliding snowshoes are available.
Lake Livojärvi has vendace, whitefish, trout and grayling.

Six beds on the loft (2 of them separately in their own corner). Electric sauna, washroom with 2 showers, dressing room, toilet, open porch. Floor space 130 m² + loft 30 m². Grill hut about 20 m² for 10-15 persons.
Cottage equipment includes mechanical ventilation, air source heat pump (with cooling in summer time), tumble dryer, extra fridge in sauna-area, Harman/Kardon digital music player, one children's travel cot and one cot, 6 snow sledges, books, board games, Xbox 360 game console and dvd discs. Wifi internet access. Netflix and Prime Video available with the codes of the owner.
Electric car charging option, 11kw, is included in the rental price.
20 m² barbecue hut for 10-15 persons. Spacious silverlog chalet made from sturdy logs, close to all Sallatunturi services.
Easily accessible by train (with a car) from South-Finland to Kemijärvi, just continue by car 75 km to the cottage Sallatunturi.

78 km east of Kemijärvi, in Sallatunturi holiday resort area. A log cabin apartment, built in 2011, in a house with 4 apartments. Kitchen-living room, 3 bedrooms each with 2 beds made already, shower room, electric sauna (renewed in 2023) stove), laundry room, 2 toilets (one with shower), hall, porch.
There is floor heating (water heating) in the apartment, in addition to the drying cabinet dryer, mechanical ventilation, wireless Internet access and satellite channels. Besides livingroom there is tv also in one bedroom. Apartment is partly suited for disabled persons (spacious), but there are a couple of stairs at the front door.
Good quality wi-fi (optical fiber).
Barbecue hut by a pond in shared use with all the apartments in the area.

Car shelter for two cars, storage. Villa Kallas is a spacious and modern villa located on the cliff by the lake providing a stunning lake view over the lake Yli-Suolijärvi.
There is an air water heat pump based floor heating in the cabin. Wireless Internet (4G) and two TVs, one in living area. The outdoor hot tub is immediately ready (electric heating), you can use it by ordering an outdoor hot tub from the additional services section. Fee for a hot tub is a one-time fee that covers your entire holiday period.
4 pairs of snowshoes, bobsleigh and sleds and sliders available for the guests. The cliff by the lake is ideal for sledging.
Riisitunturi National Park is at its closest at a distance of 13 km (via forest roads). The actual starting point for the park is about 45 km away. Korouma gorge valley is within 50 km distance.
Kirintövaara ski resort 20 km, Suomu 60 km and Ruka 70 km.
Dog sledding rides are available within 12 km distance.
Cultural Centre Pentik and factory shop 13 km, services of Posio municipality center 14 km.

Sallan Kuukkeli is a modern log house, built in 2022, on the slopes of fell Sallatunturi and near the National park. It is a dream come true destination for a family of five: an escape from everyday life designed for active vacations and relaxation that stimulates all senses.
The cabin is located high on the slope of the fell, along the ending road, in own peace. Nice view towards the peak from the living room. Access to outdoor trails and ski trail directly from yard. 1.7 km distance to ski slopes along the road, less than kilometer along the outdoor trail.
The cabin has three bedrooms with beds for seven. Blackout curtains in the bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom has 2 separate beds, and the third bedroom has a bunk bed and 1 separate bed. Large living room/kitchen, two WCs, spacious hall, dressing and housekeeping room, shower and sauna.
The facilities are designed to enable active holidays as well as complete relaxation: the hall has enough space for ski shoes and outerwear, as well as a drying cabinet for wet hats and gloves; the living room has a large sofa for enjoying the view and the fireplace. Even large group can enjoy dinner at the dining table; the sauna warms up slowly and is wood-heated. From the sauna, there is direct access to the terrace. The bedrooms can be conveniently combined or separated from the common spaces by using sliding doors.
There is no TV in the cabin. However, remote work is easily possible thanks to fast Internet connection and small work desk.
The cabin is furnished thoughtfully and detailed, favoring timeless Nordic design and second-hand items. It is important for the owner that the holiday home is not only practical, but also beautiful.
