Barefoot Bay Resort Motel

This wasn't our first visit to the Barefoot Bay and it certainly won't be our last. Starting with the location ... It's literally across the road from the beach and lot's of bars and restaurants, and is right next door to Walgreens for all those last minute essentials. The propery itself was excellent for what we wanted. The room we had, had a queen sized bed and a sofa bed, a kitchenette and bathroom (obviously) and was very bright and cheery. The pool, although not huge is perfect and right outside the rooms, pool towels are provided and the car parking is free. It was a really chilled couple of days. As for the owner, Stacey (A Yorkshire lass), she is a force of nature, friendly and helpful, and a whole lot of fun. We can't wait for our next visit.

I absolutely loved my 2 night stay here. I was in town from Boston to pick up my nephew from the Univ of Tampa. Stacey made me feel welcome from the moment I stepped thru the door. Room was bright and clean and bed was comfortable. Even my nephew who slept on the couch said that was comfortable. Enjoyed the pool also. Place is so close the to Pier area across the street. and also many restaurants. I would gladly recommend to anyone to stay here and I will definitely return!

If you are looking for a very nice small privately own motel to spend a very relaxing time then this is the place to go. This is not your typical 100 room fancy over priced resort but instead a really comfortable, clean and well maintained motel. They have a large pool with a really big deck with lots of seating. They also have a deck out back that overlooks the marina. Great for in the evenings. The rooms are very clean and well stocked with everything you need from kitchen ware, plates, silver ware and glasses. Nice sink and coffee maker. Bathroom is small but has all the essentials. Very clean. The staff was super nice, Cesaer checked us in and answered all my questions. This motel is located just a few minutes walk from the beach and Pier 60 and also lots of restaurants to go to. Parking is right in front of the rooms so you don't have far to go with your luggage, also you don't have to pay to park which is a plus. This is a very reasonably priced alternative to the expensive places nearby so if you want a nice place to stay without breaking the bank, this is the place to go. We will definitely stay there again when we go back.

Great overall experince with my stay!! The staff is friendly and available to answer wuestions. Rooms are updated and very clean. Close to beach and restaurants. Everything worked well in the room with a variety of rooms to select from at time.of stay.

This has been my "go-to" place since 2005. This has been my "go-to" place since 2008. Best location. Walking distance to everything. Clean room, Extremely kind and accommodating staff. Looking forward to returning.

Wow... last minute decision to go to Clearwater and needed accommodation. Found Barefoot on *********** but decided to call directly. Spoke to Stacey, and everything slotted into place. Booked a room for the 4 of us. We arrived after the office had closed but Stacey had sorted instructions. On arrival we couldn't have been happier, the motel's location, presentation and room were absolutely perfect. The frontage was light up with great lighting that complemented it perfectly, showing off a prime asset, the pool. The room presentation was perfect, spotlessly clean and tidy. From the window we had a stunning view over the Marina. After a night checking out the seafront shops, bars and restaurants (which are a stone's through away) we sat by the pool to end the night with a last drink and soak in the atmosphere. After a great night's sleep it was, unfortunately, time to leave, but not until the pool had been used. Stacey made us all feel so welcome that morning, chatting to both couples as she went about her daily tasks. I can't recommend the Barefoot enough. If you are looking for hassle free accommodation that offers great location, style and comfort then this is for you. Thank you Stacey for helping us create great memories, you and your family should be really proud of what you have achieved.

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The owners are amazing. They made us feel so welcome. We felt at home. It’s clean and walking distance to almost everything. We didn't want to leave. Will definitely stay again!

They claim to be a marina and they have no access to marina. I ask the same day I booked to cancel my reservation Because they don’t have the marina. But they are all about the money and didn’t want to cancel, I was forced to stay there with my truck & vessel and they didn’t have parking for me & my trailer. They Send me to parking & pay $10 hr four the time of my stay. Completely a bad experience
