This is a review of the hotel service at the Dinner Theatre put on by the Northumberland Players and not the performance itself. We were a group of approximately 30 people. We have been there before with this group and received the same rude, unprofessional service at that time but decided to give them another chance. Ticket Purchase - No online ticket purchase available. Not sure if this is Northumberland Players or hotels responsibility but it is 2024 after all. ⭐️ Meal Selection - They wanted each of us to pick an appetizer, entree and dessert at time of ticket purchase. Understandable so they know how many of each to prepare. No problem. They also wanted us to create a seating plan for our 30 patrons so they could know who got what meal, at what table and at which seat. We told them this was not possible at time of purchase. ⭐️ Arrival - Advertised that dinner service was to start at 5:00pm. Doors didn’t open til 5:45 pm. ⭐️ Checkin at door - Even though we told them it was not possible to create a seating plan they insisted in a very rude and unprofessional manner. They spent the next half hour creating a seating plan for our group so the wait staff knew who was to be served what meal at each table and seat. What a joke. ⭐️ Dinner Service - Despite the creation of a seating plan, wait staff took individual orders at the table; didn’t even use the “seating plan”. If they knew this was going to be the case all they had to do at the door was to direct our group to the 4 tables we were assigned and let us decide who was going to sit where? Another joke.⭐️ Food Quality - ⭐️⭐️ Bar Service - Bar location was terrible near the kitchen entrance. Wait staff had to navigate through the bar lineup. Only one bartender which caused the long lineups. ⭐️ Overall experience. ⭐️ Will not return as a group or individual.
