New Inn at Coln

Stayed here with friends for a 2 night stay for a weekend wedding. staff were super accomodating rooms were all unique but with great amenities. We were a group of approx 20 people so I'm sure we probably took the place over but we had a great time. we had a group dinner and was all served beautifully. great wine selection, delicious cocktails and friendly staff. special thanks to the scottish lady who helped me check in a few minutes early as I was faffing and looking after a baby. p.s sorry for trapping the giant spider under the glass and running away from it, I pardoned it a death under a shoe at least :)

Top marks to the New Inn at Colin St Aldwych. Fantastic overnight stay, room was superb, food was great and the staff could not be more helpful. We dont often leave a review, but felt that this one deserves credit and would highly recommend to everyone who is considering a stay. You will not be disappointed

Fabulous pub in idyllic village setting. Had excellent lunch sat in autumnal sunshine. Staff were super friendly and efficient. Highly recommend this absolute gem. Cannot understand why anyone wouldn't have a wonderful experience here...

Nice looking hotel, but has been neglected for years. No proper check in area so you check in at the bar. The rope stair handrails were dangerous. Our shower was broken. The food was awful. We ordered an English breakfast which was inedible. Coffee tasteless. Dinner awful. The staff were unhelpful. Clearly a hotel that survives based on location.

Had the most amazing stay for my birthday trip away back in February 2024. My first time ever to the Cotswolds and I absolutely loved it, it will deffo not be my last - all thanks to this hotel! The decor, the room, bathroom, the cosy feel with the restaurant/ pub downstairs, the friendly staff. We had dinner at the hotel one night, food was so good! We also had breakfast at the hotel each morning which was delicious. Everything was just perfect and would a million percent recommend to any friends, families or colleagues to stay at this hotel. Stayed here for our Golden Wedding Anniversary, a beautiful place to stay. Staff were very helpful our room was absolutely beautiful. We met up with friends for food, the tapas and burgers were amazing. Highly Recommended if you are in the Cotswolds.

We spent three nights at the New Inn hosting the bridal party of 14 people for our daughter’s nearby wedding. The hotel was very accommodating and provided excellent service to meet all our needs. The food was first class for both breakfast and an evening dinner.

Probably the best burgers we have ever tasted. Well worth a visit. We had to wait for a while until the evening service started but it was well worth the wait. The bar area filled up with locals and everyone was friendly and the atmosphere was great. All the waiting staff were friendly and attentive.

We had the last seats for Sunday lunch at 3 pm and were charmed by the hospitality of the staff and the delicious food. This pub has a very good vibe- a sense of being local to the area and not too manicured in the way some West Oxfordshire Gastro pubs can seem more of a formal restaurant and less of a local pub. We will certainly come back from Oxford It's also a charming building in a beautiful village.
