What an experience this hotel is outstanding for cleanliness inside and out the staff were professional and allways had a smile from the minute we arrived till we left food was good entertainment around pool and evenings were good food and drinks in huts around pool good we had a great time here well worth the money outstandingly professionally run PS a visit to the lighthouse is a must to beautiful walk the scenery was amazing

I was at this hotel and I was disappointed we found cockroaches, we were a group of 5 people and 3 of us vomited badly the room I received was moldy and the food is quite basic, nothing special, the drink is of poor quality, if you want to drink a better known drink you have to pay. for all inclusive you get one bottle of water and then if you want to refill it at the dispenser if you want to play billiards you have to pay I had a bad experience, I don't recommend it !!!

I can’t believe all these bad reviews . Food and accommodation very good . Entertainment on evening could do with room for improvement , but not the end of the world . Staff very friendly . Very clean , spotless and we are very fussy about cleanliness . . Walking distance to bars and restaurants about 15 min walk . There something for everyone young and old . Relaxing holiday .

Do not stop here . Dirty tired rooms, cockroaches . Public areas not clean, bar staff rude. Its not really all inclusive as they charge you for drinks. One choice only locally for each spirit wine and cava not nice in the all inclusive. Our bathroom was cleaned once during our stay, sheets changed once in 10 days , despite us requesting it. Staff at maspalomas princess were lovely at the Tabaiba princess they were rude and unhelpful. The restaurant staff were good and food good, especially in the speciality restaurants. You cannot relax, there are no relaxing areas, thump thump music around all pools, foam parties, its like being in an 18-30's holiday nightmare. Reps not in Tabaiba princess, you have to go to Maspalomas princess and they are not there as much as they say they are. Unless they are selling you trips they don't want to know. Beach is a €7 taxi away. Maspalomas itself, the beach and sand dunes are lovely. Better hotels than this at the beach. Geared towards families, so many children, lots of pools for families and children . Entertainment in the evening poor, very hit and miss. Queen tribute act a joke, called the British, said he was sorry for us !

We have just returned from a 7night stay at the Hotel Princess Tabaiba and had an amazing holiday. We travelled as a family with 3 children aged 12, 9 and 4. When we arrived (being quite late at 10:35pm as our hotel was last drop off), check in could have been a little smoother as they struggled to find our rooms. Being a family of 5 I had to book two rooms at the time of booking the holiday which seemed to have confused things on arrival. We did request interconnected or if not at least next door to each other which they did manage to sort in the end. We were then told we could find a snack bar to grab something to eat before 11pm however this was not the case there are no places to purchase food or snacks at this time and all drinks are stopped serving as part of your AI package at 11pm. We stayed Princess Tabaiba side which is more modern of the two, in two double rooms which were beautiful and had a pool view. Staff work tirelessly to keep the site and hotel clean, it was spotless! Towels are provided and can be changed using towel cards. Will remember this next time as there is no need to take your own. The pools are huge and there are lots of space to grab a sunbed! They are very strict on reserving sunbeds and belongings will be taken away before 10am if left on the beds. However we never felt the need to reserve as always managed to find 5 together! The only downside to the pool areas are the gravelled areas. In the end my girls were asking not to stay on ‘the stones’ as there toes did get sore from two days we had spent on sun beds in those areas, so then opted to stay on beds around the tiled sides of the pools. Life guards are very strict about what happens in each pools, for example strictly no inflatables in any of the pools. And balls could only be taken in one of them. This didn’t really bother us the kids were happy just to be jumping in and splashing. The kids splash pad was a huge hit for our kids they loved it! We could not fault the variety of food on offer at the hotel we did not feel the need to book the two other restaurants, and after reading some of the other reviews I don’t feel like we missed out on that. As expected during high season main buffet restaurant does get extremely busy but again staff work tirelessly to ensure this is stress free and we’re always able to accommodate whether we wanted to be seated inside or outside. There were different themed nights such as mexican, seafood, Spanish etc.. the kids much preferred the Chozo bar (one of the pool bars) as had typical hot dogs, pizza nuggets burgers etc so they tend to fill themselves up at lunch time! Entertainment was great. Kids loved the mini disco and there were a variety of family shows and games each night or if you didn’t fancy this then most nights they had live music or a dj the other side more for adults and this got quietly lively and busy.
