Good property. Bad management. Suddenly, have been put on "do not rent" list. Desk clerk smirking yesterday while she told me. No explanation. Since I have stayed at this property ten times or so...850$ or so... would expect better explanation.

This was the second or third time I’ve stayed here. Staff is very friendly. Grounds are well maintained. The room was perfect. When I opened the door I was greeted with cool air. Someone had turned the A/C to 72 so the room was already comfortable when I got there. There was also a dehumidifier running in the room which was really nice given the high humidity we have in the South. Everything was clean and in working order. Nice little refrigerator with separate freezer compartment. Just tall enough to put a large Frosty cup in it. I was in rm 125 at the back of the hotel. I didn’t hear any road noise and they had a great place to walk my dogs. The hotel is right off the interstate and surrounded by fast food places and restaurants. It’s very close to the Tanger outlet malls if you have time for shopping.

This was my first experience with a Red Rood Inn. I stopped here going northwest to a mountain cabin. Darkness and rain were setting in. I chose the facility because they allow pets and I had my small dog with me. It looked maintained from from the outside but the room I was put in, in the back, after asking for easy access to the car was pretty scary. The floor had insects waxed into the floor by the trash can and something sticky by the dresser. The bathroom door had brown residue blown all over it. I was too tired to ask for a change of a room. I slept in my clothes. Should have slept in my car for $100 and been more comfortable. The bed did check out ok, though. When I mentioned this , and showed a photo at check out, the gal at the desk, just said she would mention it to housekeeping!!! Nothing more...........

Bad parking lot. Nowhere to park! The parking lot also smelled like trash. Sheets were dirty with dried tree leaves all over the bed. They were not washed. I did see a little roach crawling on the table. The rooms were big and beds were big. The view was nice with lots of trees around the area. The location was great because it was right off the interstate. The front desk was overly strict asking a bunch of questions about who was staying. It was just me and my husband and we said this many times. The breakfast was just cereal. They can do better by washing the sheets and improving the service.

Check-in was great, parking had limited lighting. Room smelled liked urine , pillow cases were new and sheets were paper thin, entry door was out drafty and did not close properly. The bathroom and sink area was very clean. Refrigerator did not work. Towels were yellowish, adequate amount provided. The room smell was just nasty. I’m sorry would not recommend.

I have stayed at a few hotels in The area hands down the cleanest , angel takes care of her guests and is always happy. Friendliest staff with the exception of the non English speaking ones other than that I enjoyed my time here

I stayed at this location on and off 2 months never had a problem till this last stay !! Left cause we were out of money for room,came back 3 days later to get a room was told we were on the DNR list cause we left our room dirty,I never left a room as they are saying I left it in,plus saying the room smells like a dog thought they are a pet friendly place and if I left my room dirty ain’t that why they got house cleaning?? We got the same room 2 times the first time the bath room was nasty looked like it hadn’t been mopped in like a year there was dust around vents and we also saw a few bugs behind frig.We also had to ask for broom to sweep our room was not mopped the whole time we were there.even had to ask for toilet brush to clean toilet. I was told the owners were money hungry!! I gave them over 5 thousand dollars in 2 months.we never complained cause we were grateful to have a roof over our heads. I even made a phone call to manager and got yelled at and hung up on to me that’s not how you run a business. I will stay on their DNR list forever but if that’s how they run a hotel I don’t want to stay at it anymore anyway. So beware of this private owned Red Roof Inn.
