Although I booked an Executive King, it was as bare bones as I’ve ever seen, even during COVID travel. Only 2 towels (what if there had been 2 of us for 2 nights?), 1 soap bar, no glass wear (wine/water glasses), no pen and paper pad, no in-room info such as menus and restaurant/bar times, TV operation & stations, local map, emergency procedures, etc. Awful coffee in the room and no courtesy coffee/tea (they advertised serving Peet’s) offered in the lobby. The place was chock-a-block with business guests who I’m sure would have appreciated that! I had one or 2 small questions and tried all pre-programmed hotel telephone connections and no one ever answered except finally, the Desk. Have to add that all the staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful! I had come to Concord from 2 hours away for ACL surgery for my Australian Cattle Dog. And finally I guess maybe all my “complaints” could have been assuaged by calling the Desk….
