Nazaret Sol Apartments

Good location, quiet, nice pool area and sun beds no problem. Balcony great with table chairs and sun loungers. Beach 10 minutes straight down the road. Bars and restaurants close by. As said before the furniture is dated but 3*** so need to remember that. The bathrooms need updating they let the place down. No oven which as self catering means you can't even put a pizza in! The biggest problem here is the WiFi. Advertised but in reality it is very poor. In this day and age WiFi is important. Due to this the TV buffers a lot and some evenings no TV at all. Staff friendly and the lady who runs the pool bar is absolutely lovely.

Just back from Nazaret Sol Apartments and it is a great place to stay, nice and quiet, easy to get a sun lounger, staff are great, rooms clean and comfy. Only about a 15 min walk to the square where all the best restaurant's and bars are, highly recommend this place, as Arnie said I'll be back lol.

I now get why all the mixed reviews. The apartment was spacious, beds comfy. Apartment was very tired, which made it look grubby, especially in the bathroom. We had a ground floor apartment with poolview, which was nice, but would have liked more security locks on windows and patio doors. Towels changed every 2 days and cleaned every two days. We stayed 1 week and bedding was changed in that time. Poolside was relaxing, and there was plenty of sunbeds at any time of day. Staff were all lovely, friendly, and helpful, including the 3 residential rescue cats. 10/15 mins walk takes you to the new square, which is vibrant with bars and restaurants. Supermarket across the road, the apartments are in a great place with bars and restaurants close by. If these apartments were to get a complete refurb, we would come back here, otherwise we would probably try different apartments. Costa Teguise is lovely.

The apartments are cheap and cheerful. And you get what you pay for. The room was very dated and could do with an upgrade. It was however clean. We had 4 changes of towel in 10 days and 3 bed sheet changes. The room was also cleaned alternate days. Big balcony was nice, however the two sun loungers needed a really good clean. The mattresses seemed very bold and when removed the plastic beds clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Outside to the pool area. The sun beds were really tightly packed together in places so you couldn’t get you legs in between. Not an issue we could move those. The green matting on the floor was stained in places and could do with renewing. The pool itself we only used once. It was very windy and debris from the trees blew into the pool. That couldn’t be helped but it sank to the bottom and was just left. We never saw anyone clean the pool at any time while we were there. The water felt greasy like it was just full of suncream residue. I don’t know if there was an issue with the filter but I have never come across that in a pool before. The staff we did interact with were pleasant. The pool bar we only used a couple of times. They only had san Miguel beer. Which I don’t like at all. That’s my choice and plenty people used it. The cooker has there was very nice. I don’t think I would go back, mainly because I do like to chill by the pool and cool off in the water. Which I chose not to do as it didn’t seem clean.

This was our 2nd visit to these apartments and we will return. We can only echo all of the positive comments in the other reviews. Re sunbeds, yes there were people who put their towels on their beds then disappeared... I did hear a couple who said they were off to Teguise market for the day after 'reserving' their beds. However, it never got to the point where we couldn't get sunbeds. The apartments have great balconies/terraces, are spotlessly clean, well-equipped and in a great location

We can only echo all of the positive comments in the reviews. This is our 2nd time at these apartments and would return. Yes, people were reserving sunbeds with towels, although annoying especially when you hear they are off to Teguise market for the day, never got to the ppint where we could get 2 sunbeds. Couple of new tips: there's a really great little takeaway, including fresh rotisserie, at the end of the street, turn left towards the Italian restaurant. And, Maretas centre, home to La Tabla, for great food, couple of bars and live local music.
