Fahrenheit Seven Courchevel

We went to the restaurant on a couple of occasions during our holiday. We ate outside for snacks and had proper lunch inside. Both experiences were great. Good food and good service!! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this location for more relaxed dining or a more formal meal.

Stayed for six nights over Xmas. Clean, nice and friendly staff. Good food and located right at the bottom of the ski run. We were made to feel welcome all of the time. The guys in the ski room were pleasant and helpful each morning and evening. My partner left her glasses in the room and the reception said they will post them back to the UK. Only small issues were that the room didn’t have a fridge which I would have expected and it came with a bath but no shower. Apparently some have a bath and some a shower so request one or the other if you have a preference. I would recommend this hotel to anyone for location, cleanliness, friendliness and value for money.

This hotel givea you false info regarrding rooms and facilites. I booked on booking and they gave me a poor room in another building with an acces from outside of the hotel and in there description even its not written. Tge reception service its very poor. They provide nothing!! I not recommend this hotel!!!

We stayed at your hotel in Val Thorens two years ago. In general, I liked everything. But now we didn't like some things. 1. 1. Our ski box is located at the ski rental. This is extremely inconvenient. Moreover, tonight we arrived at 18.30 and the point was closed. The reception staff could not help us. I think this is not permissible, we pay money like everyone else, but we are limited in services. 2. The staff in the restaurant is fast, but there are few staff. There are a lot of people in the restaurant. The restaurant is full. Today they came, there is no food, only bread and jam. There was not even water at first, eggs and main snacks waited about 10 minutes after being told. I think this is unacceptable for a hotel of this level. 3. In the SPA after 19.00 there was no water, clean mugs, there were no clean towels. Puddles on the floor. For three days in a row I complained about Respeshene, but the situation has not changed in any way. The hotel staff is friendly and polite enough, but there are a lot of questions for the hotel management. There is also a lot of dust in the rooms.

I’d rather tell the hotel this rather than putting on here but I felt it wouldn’t get anywhere apart from an inbox with no action. We have been staying here for a few years but year after year it has gone down hill. It’s becoming shabby. There used to be nice touches for example, coming out of the lift at reception there was a large glass water tank/bottle that you could help yourself to, infused with herbs and fruit, lovely large scented candles dotted around and a large area to sit which is now downstairs, much smaller and often no where to sit. The exit from this area, there was a metal plate sticking up causing lots of people to trip over it and I couldn’t believe no one from the hotel didn’t take any action. We contemplated taking it away ourselves. Staff were aware too which was strange. They stopped making crepes in the afternoon too. They are under staffed and we would feel awkward asking for something. The room we would often have became tatty. There’s weird stuff on the corner of the carpet. The toilet (room 429) stunk of urine despite it being cleaned. We enquired about next years prices (different room!) and now over a month period (which I believe covers France’s half terms), is now half board with no option of b&b. Due to this and the above, we have now booked the Portetta. Someone said to us that the decline of the hotel is because they have opened a new hotel in one of the nearby villages which is a shame.

Great location next to the piste and Ariondaz lift. Convenient paid for covered parking in the building not too expensive. We stayed in a 2 bed apartment and superficially the rooms are nicely done. However, they are style over substance and in need of maintenance. We had no shower screen (so only able to have a bath) and there were no bed side lights in the second bedroom. One of the wardrobe doors was on upside down - you can tell because they have old ski photos on them and the photo is upside down. There were some stains on the wall, an empty picture hook and a cushion missing. Overall a lack of maintenance and attention to detail. The building is a rabbit warren and the single lift is a pain. Staff were nice and friendly but we will look for somewhere else next time for the price
