Boutique Hotel Esplanade

We stayed in the Boutique Hotel Esplanade in Crikvenica for 1-night in mid-Apr (€128). The hotel is located across from the beach at the north-west edge of town, a short walk down the pleasant promenade to the restaurants and bars of the main plaza on the small boat harbour. Our superior seaside suite with balcony was in the historic part of the hotel, beautifully renovated with stylish, modern finishes. It had a large sitting area with a huge couch, chair, minibar and a large flat-screen TV, opening onto a large balcony with a table, chairs and a sea view (and a drying rack for swim suits). There was a mini-refrigerator for your cold drinks, and a plate of fresh cookies as a welcome gift. The bedroom was large, with a 4-post king bed with unusually comfortable pillows, side tables, 2 clothes racks (a nice touch), a large closet with a huge safe, and a second TV. The bedroom also had a smaller balcony with a sea view. The bathroom had a huge bathtub/shower, and a large vanity around the single sink. The property was large, nicely maintained, with a restaurant/bar with outside patio seating, and a large pool with plenty of loungers. Parking on the property was €15, but was free on the tree-lined street out front. The hotel hosted an afternoon tea, and a pre-dinner schnapps tasting that was fun. Breakfast was superb, beginning with a multi-layer serving platter with fruits, cheeses, cold-cuts, followed by a large a la carte selection of hot foods that were stylishly plated and delivered to the table. Overall, the Esplanade is a beautifully renovated, stylish hotel in a location convenient to the beach, the main restaurants and bars, but sufficiently apart to be quiet and offer safe street parking. Throw in the friendly and helpful staff, what is not to like? Highly recommended.

Clean and elegant hotel. The room was spaceious and well equipped. Breakfast was an experience in itself, 5-star breakfast with al-carte The beach just across the road. Everything you need is near the hotell: Restaurants, bakery, bike rental, food shop. Crikvenica is a typical Mediterranean resort town, but in the hotel you get to stay in your own little peacefull bubble with great service.

Hotel is nothing special. It is old and quick renovated. Bathrooms are still old. Wellness also new. Staff is friendly. I would recommend this hotel only for short stay. But breakfast is superb. Alla cart, at least it was during covid.

Nachdem wir letztes Jahr hier einfach wundervolle Tage erleben durften, haben wir uns auch heuer wieder dazu entschlossen ein Wochenende im Boutique Hotel zu verbringen. Leider hat sich das als großer Fehler herausgestellt, es ist außer den Zimmern eigentlich nichts mehr wie es war. Die Kulinarischen Highlights vom letzten Jahr sucht man vergeblich egal ob beim vier gängigen Abendessen oder beim Frühstück, übrig bleibt eine große Enttäuschung und die Gewissheit nie wieder das Hotel zu betreten.

Siamo stati solo un giorno, per la nostra esperienza possiamo dire che la struttura è ottimamente posizionata nella tranquilla località di Crickvenica il cui centro è a nemmeno un km di distanza. L'hotel è situato all'interno di una pineta letteralmente a 5 metri dalla spiaggia, prima della quale si trova un bel viale pianeggiante e alberato con possibilità di correre e fare sport. Camera splendida con pari vista, ampio terrazzo attrezzato, bel salottino con altra postazione TV, colazione apprezzata per bontà, varietà e diversa dalle solite: viene servita al tavolo previa scelta tra 5 diversi menù (ricordiamo la continentale, la mediterranea, la explanade -locale- e la vegetariana). Parcheggio all'interno dell'hotel. Consigliato, le foto parlano da sole

Standort sehr gut. In 5 Min. ist man zu Fuss im Ort und der Stein-/Sandstrand befindet sich vor dem Hotel nur die Strasse überqueren. Es sind keine Liegestühle am Strand vorhanden. Wir haben selber einen mitgenommen. Poolanlage war auch super, wir bevorzugten den Strand. Unser Zimmer war geräumig und sehr schön mit grossem Balkon. Schade sind die neuen Zimmer nicht mit Dusche sondern mit Badewanne ausgestattet. Für ältere oder havarierte Personen schwer zum einsteigen. Sehr schöne Restaurantterrasse. Alles Personal sehr nett. Beim Restaurantservice gibt es noch Verbesserung im Ablauf, dieser scheint teilweise recht unkoordiniert. Leider zu wenig Parkplätze.
