Au Major Davel

The location is great, right next to the lake and by the ferry stop. I paid the local tax on check-in and stupidly declined to get a receipt - they'd have noted it. But no, i was asked again for it on check-out the next morning. I went out and stupidly handed my key in. On returning, a group was checking in. My key was handed to them. Luckily they spotted they had too many keys and handed it back. While all this was going on, someone, the restaurant manager?, was loitering around. Surely they'd have been able to give me my key rather than keep me waiting? It was like it was beneath his dignity to deal with the front desk, which is really only a desk in a corner of a bar area. The restaurant was cleared up/set up for breakfast until after 1am. Cleaning started before 7am, including hoovering and clearing the restaurant toilets opposite my room. I didn't have a great sleep. I didn't have dinner or breakfast.

Nous n’étions jamais venus dans cet hôtel/restaurant et avons été ravis de notre expérience. Accueil chaleureux, sourire, cordialité et gentillesse du personnel, service impeccable sont au rendez-vous. Bravo pour le professionnalisme. Oubliez les vieux commentaires négatifs sur le restaurant, c’est vraisemblablement du passé ! En effet, nous nous sommes régalés au restaurant de l’hôtel ou tout a été parfait et avons passé une excellente nuit dans un lit très moelleux. La vue depuis notre chambre, face au lac, était superbe et nous invitait à la contemplation... Nous reviendrons avec plaisir dans cet établissement.

hôtel charmant et personnel incroyable. Je reviendrai certainement la prochaine fois. Super séjour! L'emplacement est central dans le charmant quartier et la vue imprenable sur le lac depuis la chambre.

Cet hôtel est une petite pépite, parfait pour visiter Cully et le Lavaux. Terrasse magnifique et très grande pour manger les filets de perches avec un très bon blanc d’Epesses. Superbe accueil efficace et rapide. Vous pouvez vous garer pas très loin sur des emplacements 10H. Petit déjeuné style buffet très sympas que vous prenez dans la véranda un vrai régal.
