Hostal Qolqampata

My husband and I stayed here when we came to hike the Inca Trail. Jose and his family treated us like family and we felt very welcome. Our room was very clean, water was hot and the bed was comfy! Within walking distance to everything! Wonderful free breakfast and even had an extremely reasonably priced laundry service— and we had a ton after our hike. It was all done and neatly folded and returned the same day! Jose also ordered a pizza for us- as neither of us speak Spanish- and he arranged a taxi for us to get back to the airport! Everyday he would ask if we needed anything at all. Better customer service than many hotels offer and always with a smile! Highly recommend!!!

Such a cute place! The most beautiful terrace and view over Cusco. Enjoy some coca-tea in the sun and marvel at the city and beautiful surroundings. And such wonderful staff 😍😍 they took really good care of us and were always so happy and kind. The rooms were clean and the showers really nice and hot. Thank you so much for a lovely stay 🥰

We had a very good experience! We could check in late in the evening. The rooms are well decorated, have very comfortable beds, a warm shower, and a small heater when needed (Cusco can be cold in the night!). There is a basic breakfast included. The view from the breakfast room is just stunning!! The view alone is already worth the stay (: The location is central: 5 minutes walking to the main plaza and all the restaurants. Lastly, the staff was very helpful. They gave us good tips for the environment, and informed about our pick up times for the tours we did (like rainbow mountain, we were picked up at 4.00 am). They got up early in the morning and called us when the pick up was there. They were highly trustworthy. Conclusion: a comfortable stay in the city center, with a beautiful view & nice people included! We can definitely recommend a stay here

The landlord was constantly creating trouble with using water in the bathroom. I have booked with bathtub. The landlord did not only deney to handle the plug for the bathtub but also knocked at the room's door to shout not using too much water to shower. The tone and volume of the language used was shockingly mad. Moreover our room was not cleaned. He said you have to tell otherwise they don't. We did get a fresh towl but we had to deal with the owners bad mood when asking, though not every day we wanted. Besides the veranda has a very nice view out over the city. But that view in no way compensated the disadvantage to make the way back from Plaza de Armas to the hostel, since that direction means climbing the hill. Before I was in one of the plenty diferent places hosted in Cuscu and made a much more welcoming experience, e.g. for the cold nights we got in a diferent place a heater for free while freezing at Hostal Qolqampata.

The Hostal was cute and cozy with wonderful views and warm comfy beds. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They were very helpful giving us great suggestions around the area and helping us arrange transport and other needs.

We had a wonderful 3 nights here. Lovely decorated hostel. It is a family of hosts who take really good care. Our taxi driver charged too much and when the lady of the house found out she stood up for us. Everything was great, would defenitely come back again!
