We were in town for my son’s wedding at a nearby venue. Unfortunately, we encountered nothing but problems at this AC. The Foundry bar “lost” our credit card, that we had given them for our tab, so we had the aggravation of having to cancel it. The front desk had swiped my Marriott credit card on our 2 reservations and at check out was told the credit card was not on file. The worst was when we pulled the sheets back on our bed and we found a bed bug. It was put in a cup and given to a hotel associate who also said, “yes, that’s a bed bug”. The biggest issue was the hotel tried to say it was a carpet beetle, which looks and acts nothing like a bed bug. Then come to find out from a Marriott supervisor that no one even looks at the bug found, the room is only inspected. The hotel can say whatever they want. As a lifetime Platinum Elite member, this is the worst customer service I’ve ever seen at a Marriott property.
