It was great stay, ambience is good, hotel staff is prompt and very co-operative, was value for money. Would to special mention of good service from madan in kitchen/restaurant and akash at reception.

The location is very discreet and the property is kind of a heritage structure. The surroundings are quiet and lush green. Peaceful. But, ~The rooms are enormous but lack the basic aesthetics and amenities. ~Moulds have colonized the walls behind the beds and due to no mechanism to deal with the dampness inside, the linen gets affected too. (In terms of smell on the blankets etc). ~Toiletries provided are very basic in nature. ~Hot water is not a problem and the water pressure is fine too. The beds are not at all comfortable. The food is ordinary and nothing special to mention about it. Tasted fresh nonetheless. The place screams for a need for a major overhaul. Monkeys are in abundance. Strangely, I did not feel very safe here and wanted my husband to be always around. No specific reason but that feeling. The staff is polite and courteous to say the least. We had planned to stay for a couple of nights here but ended up not extending our stay after the first night. Piece of advice for the management: This property has tremendous potential in terms of a heritage property and the location. A good interior designer ***** with a turnaround expert is needed. Excellent property with scenic views and large heritage type rooms. Housekeeping and reception staff were very polite and helpful. Food was also great. We had breakfast and high tea.

I did a stay with my wife and few friends from 18 - 21 Oct'24. Very impressed with the property and especially the kindness and service mind set of all Hotel Staffs right from room service, room cleaning and catering to various requirements during breakfast. I stayed at Dehradun during the first week of July 2024. It was an excellent stay, that was made possible by its very supportive Manager, Kishore Rawat ji and his staff members. Whether it's to do with the room facilities, the food we had there, the hospitality, service, amenities....on all counts, it's an excellent and Highly recommended property. Their rich variety of buffet breakfast, Garhwal Chicken, Makhni dal are must try. Kishore ji had been an excellent support in accommodating my father stay (which was due to a change in plan) by giving us a room upgrade, for which I am grateful to him. Only let down, if any, is the distance of property from Main city, however, if you want to stay in green lush forests, that anyway would not be possible within city confinements.

The property is located far away from the city but it is really impressive with it's aesthetic looks and old world charm. However very poorly maintained, leaking walls and dampened interiors. Lacked basic toiletries like mosisturizer disposal bags shower caps etc. shower gel and shampoo bottles were unclean and had no labels to know which was what. Had dirt and dust all over, in desperate need of deep cleaning. Bathroom had yellow stains. Despite our request no housekeeping came for cleaning. They did spray air freshener that lasted few mins. To make the matter worse the food was pathetic. Took a long time to make but there was no taste and was unhygienic. Found files in the soup.
